Ss: Qu Yuan. We Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival in memory of Qu Yuan. T: What do you know about Qu Yuan?
Ss: He is a poet (of Chu State), he jumped into the river and died for his country. People respect him very much.
T: The next one is What. What do we eat? Ss: We eat Zongzi and drink realgar wine.

T: Actually, Frank is an Austrilian, and now he is studying in the United States of America. We call him overseas student. Actually, in America, there are many overseas students. They go to the United States of America to study, and usually live in American families, we call them host families. Today, I will introduce an overseas student to you. His name is Zhu Hui. What is his life like? Let’s have a look. Turn to P.35. Here is a TV report. 1. Listening

3. Life in America is different from life in China. Some people like it, but others don’t like it. Many people feel alone in foreign countries. They miss their home very much. What is home? 教學反思
初中英語組 蔡文杰
《義務教育英語課程標準(2011年版)》指出:“義務教育階段的英語課程具有工具性和人文性雙重性質”。就工具性而言,英語課堂教學應發展學生基本的聽、說、讀、寫能力以及基本的英語交流交際能力,進一步促進學生的思維發展;就人文性而言,英語課程承擔著提高學生綜合人文素養的任務,不僅要幫助學生開拓視野、增長知識,還要幫助學生形成正確的人生觀、價值觀和人文素養。
依據《英語課程標準》中的理論要求,在本節課的設計當中,我設計一條主干線引領貫穿于整節課。在本節課中,我在課堂的最開始為學生引入一個新朋友Frank。為Frank設定的身份是澳大利亞籍且現在美國留學的學生。通過與Frank的對話引出端午、時差、留學生等知識塊,以及本單元的閱讀文章主人公——朱輝,進而進行文本學習。最后由Frank和朱輝留學生的身份引出留美學生在美國的生活情況介紹,通過對他們在外留學生活的了解,對學生進行熱愛家庭、熱愛家鄉和熱愛祖國的情感態度價值觀教育。
縱觀教學設計、課堂實際效果等多個方面,我認為本節課有以下比較好的地方:
第一,整節課在由一條主線貫穿,機構結構緊密,邏輯性強。一堂設計精密、邏輯性強的課,才更容易抓住學生,吸引學生的注意力,讓學生全程跟緊老師的節奏,完成本節課相應的知識任務、思維任務,達成情感目標。
第二,重視語言的實踐性和應用性。現在英語課堂提倡情境教學,讓學生在具體的情境中學習英語、學會英語。情境教學法是指在教學過程中,教師有目的地引入或創設具有一定情緒色彩的、以形象為主體的生動具體的場景,以引起學生一定的態度體驗,從而幫助學生理解教材,并使學生的心理機能能得到發展的教學方法。本節課從一開始就設計了外國友人Frank微信來電的情境,給同學設置給Frank回電的任務,接下來幫助學生梳理思路,引出新知。因為有任務引領,學生在學習的過程中會更深刻。貫穿整節課,學生全部在Frank引起的教學情境當中,主動在課堂中汲取新知。
第三,注重對學生思維習慣的培養。本節課中在端午節介紹和文章復述兩部分運用到了思維導圖。思維導圖運用圖文并重的技巧,把各級主題的關系用相互隸屬與相關的層級圖表現出來,把主題關鍵詞與圖像、顏色等建立記憶鏈接。思維導圖可以提高學習者的思維水平和思維能力,有助于提高學習者、甚至是教師的學習能力,有助于使一個學習者真正實現終身化學習和學會學習的目標。長期讓學生接受思維導圖,有利于幫助學生形成良好的思維習慣。
第四,借助媒體手段幫助學生了解英語國家文化生活,培養情感態度價值觀。本節課課文主要講

的就是留學生朱輝的中國家人和美國寄宿家庭的家人在端午節當天都在坐什么,兩相對比顯差異。學生因本土環境的原因,對于國內的生活比較了解,但是對國外的生活所知不多。本節課的最后一個環節是觀看視頻,聽在美留學生親自講述在美國的生活和感受,進而進行情感教育——熱愛自己的家、家鄉和祖國。效果較好。
以上是我個人認為本節課比較好的幾方面。然而本節課還存在一些不足之處。首先,課堂節奏把握得不好,前面用得時間較多,后面剩的時間就少了,導致后面的環節在操作的過程中受時間限制效果不太好。其次,學生上課的積極性不高。本節課在授課的過程中,學生的參與度較高,但是在舉手發言的廣泛性方面上還不足,舉手的同學多集中為某幾個,一部分同學能夠積極參與思考,但是不舉手發言(可能也有公開課較緊張的因素)。因此,在今后的課堂教學當中,應注意營造良好的課堂氣氛,鼓勵學生積極動腦思考,舉手發言,充分利用課堂激勵機制,調動學生的積極性。最后,在課堂的最后,我認為應設定一個總結反思的環節檢查學生的課堂知識掌握情況。本節課當中沒有設定summary的環節,抑或在課后布置一項作業,用練案檢驗學習效果,讓學生及時鞏固所學,我覺得這樣會更好一些。
