一、教學設計說明:
1.教材分析:
這是七年級英語下冊第六單元的內容,本單元主題是讓學生談論“人們正在進行的事情”,學生將學習一個重要的時態:現在進行時。本單元設計共為六個課時,本次設計為本單元第一課時,新學動詞詞組較多,重點在于學習現在進行時結構“be+v-ing”并對其進行運用。 2.學情分析:
該階段學生單詞積累已經到一定的基礎水平,但是由于本單元新的動詞詞組較多,對于學生而言還是有中等的難度。此外,學生第一次接觸新的時態,可能理解上存在困難,教師在進行一般現在時到現在進行時轉換時可多進行操練。
二、教學目標:
1. 知識目標:
(1)重點單詞: use, clean, wash, watch, read, talk, listen, make, exercise, newspaper, soup. (2)重點短語:watching TV, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer, making soup, washing the dishes. (3)重點句型:
①——What are you doing? ——I’ m watching TV. ②——What is he doing? ——He is using the computer. 2.技能目標:
① 初步掌握第31頁的生詞和句型; ② 初步了解現在進行時;
③ 初步學會談論人們正在進行的活動。 3.情感目標:
善于發現生活中正在發生的事情,積極思考,樂于助人,樂于參加各種活動的積極情感。
三、教學重難點:
1、教學重點:現在進行時的用法。能用現在進行時的各種形式進行準確地描述和表達正在發生的動作。
2、教學難點:能掌握現在進行時態及一些表示具體動作的詞組搭配。
四、教學準備:
自制PPT課件、多個音頻、動畫
五、教學過程:
Step1. Teaching goals analyzing【課標解讀】
1、Greetings
教師首先跟學生們說一些問候語,提醒學生準備上課。
T: Class begins. Good morning, everyone! S: Good morning! Miss Wang! S: You are welcome!
2. T introduces the teaching goals of this period.
Step2. Self-study【自主預習】
1. Leading-in (1)Look and say.
T shows some gif images and elicits the verb phrase and asks students to read aloud in different ways. (2)Let’s recite.
T adjusts the order of the words and asks Ss to connect the words and the pictures and react quickly.
(3)Game: Forget-me-not
T shows pictures very quickly and asks Ss to read the words very quickly. There are three rounds. In the first round, there is only one picture. But in the second round, there are two pictures, etc.
3、Presentation
(1)Let’s learn the sentences. T elicits the situation.
T: There are many friends. What are they doing? Do you want to know? Let’s go! (2)Ask and answer.
T shows the gif image and asks students to ask. T: Oh, that’s Totoro. What’s he doing? How to ask? S: What are you doing?
T: Yes! How can we answer? Pay attention to the “be verb-ing” structure. S: I’m exercising. (3)Do more exercises.
Practice “What is he/she doing? He/ She is … ” in groups.
Step3. Group cooperation【合作探究】
1、 Practice
(1) Finish the exercise in 1a.
T: Now, let’s turn to page 31 and find out what other people are doing. Firstly, let’s read the phrases.
Then, T asks Ss to match the activities with the words. (2) Listening practice
Listen and find out what these people are doing. Write the numbers from 1a. (3) Listening extension
Listen again and complete the listening material. (4) Role play
T asks Ss to make the conversation in pairs according to the picture in 1a. What is she/he doing? He/ She is…
What are they doing? They are… (5) Let’s chant!
shows a rhythmed music and asks Ss to practice the chant.
Step4. Classroom summary【反思總結】
1. Conclusion
T makes a conclusion about the important sentences of today’s learning. 2. Extension
T gives some simple explanations about the Present progressive tense.
Step5. Classroom testing【檢測拓展】
1. T asks Ss to finish these exercises on the screen. 2. Homework.
Show your classmate a photo of your family and introduce what the people in the photo are doing.
