Ⅰ. Material analysis
本單元教學(xué)內(nèi)容主要圍繞旅游和交通方面的話題展開。Topic1主要讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)如何用英語談?wù)撀糜危绾斡糜⒄Z預(yù)訂車票、房間,如何為旅游籌集資金、制訂出行計劃等。動詞不定式是本話題的重點語法項目。本節(jié)課為該話題的第一節(jié)課,主要活動為Section A 的1a和3。讓學(xué)生掌握旅游地點、交通方式和所需費用等常識,掌握黑體單詞和短語field, proper,total, go on a visit to … 和decide on…, 理解白體詞匯mount, vehicle, airline和partner, 掌握動詞不定式的用法,同時教育學(xué)生要學(xué)會制訂計劃;培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛旅游、積極探索的態(tài)度。 Ⅱ. Teaching aims Knowledge aims:
1. 學(xué)生能正確拼讀并運用以下單詞。 field, mount, total, airline, price, 2. 學(xué)生能正確理解和運用以下短語:

T: Aha, maybe it's a little hard for you . It is ... Do you know Mount Tai ? Ss: Yes. It's one of the most beautiful mountains in China.
T: Right. Let's enjoy some amazing scenery of it. Do you want to go there ? Ss: Of course.

Step 2 Presentation
1. Before going there, we need to prepare for it. It's a little far, so we need to choose proper vehicles. The teacher shows different traveling ways and asks students to discuss the best way to travel. Finish 1b. Using the following sentences to ask and answer in pairs.
A: How much does it cost to get to ... by ...? B: It costs ....
A: How long does it take to go there by ...? B: It takes ...
A: The best way to get there is by ... because … B: I think so. / …
2. After discussing, ask several students to report like below: A: We decide to go there by ... because... B: The best way to get there is by ... because … C: We’ll choose ... to get there, because… D: …
3. Listen to 1a, and mark T or F. If it is wrong, please correct it.

Step 3 Consolidation
1. Show some proverbs with infinitives and let students guess their meanings. And then lead to the structure of Infinitives.
2. Let students read 1a, and ask students to find out the sentences with infinitives. And then analyze their sentence elements. 3. Read 1a in roles, and then act it out. Step 4 Practice
1. Group work: survey group members’ trip plans, and then share the information in
front of the class as below.

1. Write five sentences with infinitives.
2. Write a short passage to plan your own trip to some places, including the ways to travel, the reason and the cost.
