Ⅰ. Material analysis
本單元教學內容主要圍繞旅游和交通方面的話題展開。Topic1主要讓學生學習如何用英語談論旅游，如何用英語預訂車票、房間，如何為旅游籌集資金、制訂出行計劃等。動詞不定式是本話題的重點語法項目。本節(jié)課為該話題的第一節(jié)課，主要活動為Section A 的1a和3。讓學生掌握旅游地點、交通方式和所需費用等常識，掌握黑體單詞和短語field, proper，total, go on a visit to … 和decide on…, 理解白體詞匯mount, vehicle, airline和partner, 掌握動詞不定式的用法，同時教育學生要學會制訂計劃；培養(yǎng)學生熱愛旅游、積極探索的態(tài)度。 Ⅱ. Teaching aims Knowledge aims：
1. 學生能正確拼讀并運用以下單詞。 field, mount, total, airline, price, 2. 學生能正確理解和運用以下短語：

Step 2 Presentation
1. Before going there, we need to prepare for it. It's a little far, so we need to choose proper vehicles. The teacher shows different traveling ways and asks students to discuss the best way to travel. Finish 1b. Using the following sentences to ask and answer in pairs.
A: How much does it cost to get to ... by ...? B: It costs ....
A: How long does it take to go there by ...? B: It takes ...
A: The best way to get there is by ... because … B: I think so. / …
2. After discussing, ask several students to report like below: A: We decide to go there by ... because... B: The best way to get there is by ... because … C: We’ll choose ... to get there, because… D: …
3. Listen to 1a, and mark T or F. If it is wrong, please correct it.

1. Show some proverbs with infinitives and let students guess their meanings. And then lead to the structure of Infinitives.
2. Let students read 1a, and ask students to find out the sentences with infinitives. And then analyze their sentence elements. 3. Read 1a in roles, and then act it out. Step 4 Practice
