Ⅰ. Teaching Aims and demands
(1) Knowledge objectives
To learn some new words and phrases .
To master the usage of adverbial clause of condition If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents.
(2) Ability objectives
To develop the Ss’abilities of listening ,speaking ,reading and writing.
To develop the Ss’abilities of English independent learning.
(3) Emotion objectives.
To enable the students to build up the awareness of safety traffic.
To enable the students to understand the importance of obeying the traffic rules.
Ⅱ.Teaching key points and difficult points
To master the target language and use them to make dialogues. To understand the usage of adverbial clause of condition and use it to talk about the traffic rules.

Step l. Warm-up&Lead-in 創設情境 激趣導入
1.Play a game: Let's enjoy
2.Make a survey by asking“How do you usually go to school?”
This is designed to attract Ss’attention and interest in English ,then lead them into the new lesson freely.
Step2: Presentation引導探究 領悟發現
1.let the students learn the news in groups, then they will have a word competition.
2.Listen ﹑read and learn the target language in groups. 3.Read and mark “T” or “F”.
Step 3: practice

1. Read and act. Let the students read the dialog loudly, then guide them to choose a suitable way to show themselves. 2. Read the dialogue ,then finish 1c.
Step 4: Consolidation鞏固創新 挑戰自我
1.Have a debating competition to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of riding bikes.
Let Ss discuss the advantages and disadvantages about cycling in groups, then write down their own opinions.
2.Show some pictures about bicycle accidents, then let them think over: What should we do to avoid the traffic accidents? Let Ss talk about the
traffic rules they should obey when they ride bikes.
Step 5: Project.

1.Let students act as a policeman to talk about the traffic rules by using the adverbial clauses of condition. The best student will win the prize “交通達人” Blackboard design:
