1a Listen, look and say. Kangkang: I saw a traffic accident yesterday. Many passengers were hurt. Darren: That’s terrible! I think traffic in Beijing is crazy.
Michael: You’ll get used to it soon. When I first arrived, I was afraid of riding my bike anywhere. But now I feel a little more confident.
Kangkang: If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents. Jane: I think so. Now I like riding my bike around the city more than before. Darren: Me, too. Cycling can help us save energy and it doesn’t cause air pollution. Kangkang: I agree. It’s easy to park bikes, too.
一、整體設計思路、指導依據說明
本節課是仁愛英語八年級下學期Unit 6 Topic 3 Section A 的第一課時。本課通過Kangkang介紹他看到一起交通事故,引發Darren, Michael和Jane對交通安全和騎自行車的好處的討論。在教學中,把英語學習和學生的生活實際相結合,教育學生要遵守交通規則,注意交通安全;倡導騎自行車有益身體、有益于環境的生活理念。
從教材的設計上來說, Section A的目的重在于聽。根據聽說課的要求,本人把本節課的活動按照Pre-listening, While-listening和Post-listening的順序進行設計,各環節循序漸進,環環相扣,最終實現了本節課的學習目標。根據《英語新課程標準》,本人主要運用了任務型教學法及情景交際法,并采用多媒體課件進行輔助教學。
二、教學背景
1. 教學內容分析:
本話題是圍繞自行車而展開。本課的主要內容包括:孩子們由一次交通事故展開討論,引出語法項目“條件狀語從句”和話題“騎自行車”。本課主要學習條件狀語從句,評價別人的觀點。首先讓學生談論喜歡的運動,引發興趣,逐步過渡到自行車運動的話題。然后通過一些圖片,教學部分新詞匯,引出條件狀語從句,為學生聽1a對話完成1b掃除障礙。聽后再讀,完成1c,并在小組內進行對話表演。為了培養學生辯證地看問題,讓學生討論騎自行車的優缺點,完成1d。接著讓學生找出本課重點短語并進行理解,同時完成相關的練習對所學內容進行鞏固。最后總結歸納,完成本課時。
2. 學生情況分析:
經過了一個學年的學習,八年級學生已經有了一定的基礎,能自由運用所學知識進行基本的交流。同時,這個階段的學生記憶力好,好表現,好競爭,他們喜歡老師的賞識與表揚,有集體榮譽感,教學時可充分利用學生的這一特點,采用小組合作的方式,增強學生的興趣和注意力,激發學生的競爭意識,讓學生學得輕松,掌握得牢固。

正確運用條件狀語從句中主句與從句的時態。
五、教學過程設計(方法、手段、意圖)
Step1.Leading-in
Ask and answer some questions: Do you like sports?
What’s your favorite sport? (basketball/ football/swimming /running/cycling…) Why do you like …?
Bicycle riding is good exercise.
(通過談論學生喜歡的運動進行簡單的問答,吸引學生的注意力,并且引入話題。) Step2.Pre-listening
1. Learn some new words: passenger, crazy, anywhere, pollution, advantage
2. Learn the adverbial clauses of condition.
Eg: If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents. 3. Fill in the blanks with the correct words.

六、教學評價
1. 評價內容:
本節課以素質教育為目的,結合教材重點、難點以及英語學科的特點,采用情境交際法以及任務型教學法,并結合多媒體輔助教學。根據學生的情況,采用小組活動與教學相結合的方法,力求通過一系列有關聽力活動的設計,能幫助學生掌握一定的聽力技能,能聽懂聽力材料,同時也激發學生學習英語的興趣,培養學生自主學習以及團結合作的能力。課堂上,運用的小組活動,有利于增強學生的競爭意識,促進小組的合作,讓學生在輕松愉悅的環境中積極主動地參與到課堂。教學過程中注重環節之間的有機聯系,精心設計,循序漸進,做到環環相扣,步步為營。
2. 評價方法:
評價方法主要采取小組激勵性的評價,對學生評價的機會很多,對每一位(組)的學生的發言,都給予積極的評價,評價中注意理解、尊重學生。教師對學生的評價,學生對學生的認可,往往能使學生獲得自信和成就感,滿足他們的心理需要,讓學生在評價機制和競爭機制中體驗成長發展的快樂,受人贊賞的自豪。
