一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)： 1. 語(yǔ)言目標(biāo)：
(1)掌握短文中的詞匯與短語(yǔ)，掌握談?wù)撎鞖獾恼Z(yǔ)言材料。 (2)掌握以下句型：
① I'm having a great time visiting my aunt in Canada.
2. 過(guò)程與方法目標(biāo)：掌握一些閱讀技巧，學(xué)會(huì)找關(guān)鍵詞、關(guān)鍵句。 3.情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo)：
教育學(xué)生善于觀察天氣，善于調(diào)整自己的情緒；讓學(xué)生意識(shí)到應(yīng)當(dāng)努力學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)好科學(xué)知識(shí)，并且享受我們的生活。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
(1) 描述在不同的天氣情況中人們正在做的事情。 (2) 閱讀短文，提高獲取相關(guān)信息的能力。 2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)
閱讀短文，提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力。 三、教學(xué)過(guò)程
Step1. Free talk and lead in.
Boys and girls,today we’ll have a competition between Group A and Group B. Are you ready?
1. Ask students some questions about the weather. (1)How is the weather today?
(2)What kind of weather do you like? 2. Talk about pictures in 2a.
(1)Show some postcards to students and ask them :
What are they?
Did you get postcards from your friends?
(2)Jane is very happy today,because she got two postcards from her
friends.Do you want to know what the postcards are about? Before we read them,please look at the three pictures and talk about them:How is the weather?What are the people doing?
Step2.Reading 1.Fast reading.(2b)
Read the postcards in 2b and match each postcard with the correct picture in 2a. (Remind students to find some key words to helm them.)
Students read the postcards quickly and match the postcard with the correct picture. Then check the answers. 2. Careful reading.(2c)
(1) Read the passage again and fill in the chart in 2c.
(2) Discuss answers with partners.
(3) Check answers with the class.(Remind students to find some key sentences)
Step3. After Reading :discuss some questions.
1.What do you think of Su Lin and Dave? 2.What can we learn from them?
Step4.Reading contest
Step5.Language points 1.have a great time

Step6. Exercises 1.Translate these phrases: 在加拿大 現(xiàn)在

2.Translate these sentences:

(2)It's afternoon right now, and I'm sitting by the pool and drinking orange juice.
Step7.Summary
1.閱讀理解技巧—— key words and key sentences 2.重點(diǎn)短語(yǔ)——have a great time/have fun 3.現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的句型結(jié)構(gòu)：be+doing 4.We should study hard and enjoy our life!
Step8. Homework
Write a postcard to your friend. 板書設(shè)計(jì)：
