Unit 8 When is your birthday? Section B教學設計
一、教材分析:
本單元的話題貼近學生生活,學生通過運用談論生日話題的句型When is
your/his/her/Alice’s birthday ?My/His/her birthday is on May 2nd 來學習一年中的十二個月份及1-31的序數詞。教學話題從談論生日到談論“某項活動或事件的日期”,這些豐富的教學話題,極大地激發了學生學習興趣,拓展了學生的知識視野。本節課是SectionB的寫作練習課,目的是使學生在前面聽、說、讀的基礎上,嘗試簡單的寫作輸出。3a是一個控制性寫作練習,該活動通過讓學生補全便條,幫助他們整體把握便條的格式,并復習相關詞匯,為3b的獨立寫作做準備。3b讓學生依照3a的格式及3b中的問題給朋友寫一則便條。 二、學情分析
在本寫作課時之前,學生已經學習過了一年十二個月及1-31的序數詞形式,及活動安排句型We have…on…。對于本課時的學習,大部分學生已經有了一定的學習基礎。 三、教學目標:
1. 復習序數詞的構成規則,并能運用序數詞來正確表達日期。
2. 了解一些常見節日的日期,并能熟練地詢問及回答一些常見節日的日期。 3. 練習寫作便條,邀請朋友參加自己(學校)的某項活動。 四、教學重難點 1. 教學重點:
1)了解一些常見節日的日期,并能熟練地詢問及回答一些常見節日的日期。 2)練習寫作便條,邀請朋友參加自己(學校)的某項活動。 2. 教學難點:
通過不同形式的寫作訓練來練習寫作便條,指導學生能熟練地寫作便條來邀請朋友參加自己(學校)的某項活動。 五、教學過程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
1. Greet the Ss as usual. Check the homework.
2. Review the school activities. Let some Ss say all the school activities they know. S1: basketball game, volleyball game, soccer game, tennis game, school trip, art festival…
S2: School Day, Sports Day, English Day, book sale, English test, party… 3. Then let some Ss report what activities they like and dislike. (Tell Ss to use the sentence structure: I like …, but I don't like…)
S1: I like basketball game, volleyball game and soccer game, but I don't like English Day, book sale, English test or party.
S2: I like tennis game, school trip and art festival, but I don't like Sports Day, English Day or book sale.
4. Ask and answer about the activities in your school like this? S1: Do you have a soccer game? S2: Yes, we do. S1: When is it? S2: It's on October 28th.
