一、課標(biāo)解讀:
本節(jié)課的課型為聽說課,要求學(xué)生在聽力輸入的同時(shí)能對信息進(jìn)行由簡單到多層次的處理,聽后能達(dá)到用正確的目標(biāo)語言來完成語言輸出和語言交流活動(dòng)的目標(biāo)。在學(xué)完本單元之后,學(xué)生將會(huì)正確運(yùn)用be supposed /expected to的結(jié)構(gòu)來談?wù)搼?yīng)該或被期望做某事。
二、教材分析:
本單元談?wù)摰脑掝}是customs。Section A圍繞文化禮儀的話題展開,談?wù)摬煌瑖以诓煌榫诚碌奈幕?xí)俗,本節(jié)課為本單元Section A第一課時(shí),課型為聽說課。本部分的核心句型是supposed to do和被be expected to do,要求學(xué)生能夠大致聽懂描述有關(guān)國家文化禮儀的簡單介紹,能夠在聽、讀中獲取相關(guān)信息,并能模仿輸入的語言,針對各國風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣進(jìn)行詢問及回答,恰當(dāng)?shù)倪M(jìn)行語言輸出。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
(一)知識目標(biāo)
1. Help the students use these words and expressions correctly:
New words: custom bow kiss greet
2. Help the students to use the target language to correctly:
---What are people in ...supposed to do when they meet for the first time?
--- They’re supposed/expected to ...
(二) 能力目標(biāo)
Help the students to use the new words and target language to talk about the different customs in different countries.
(三)情感態(tài)度與文化意識:
讓學(xué)生了解各國文化背景、禮儀習(xí)俗,學(xué)會(huì)在不同場合的得體表現(xiàn),提升跨文化意識。
四、重難點(diǎn)
重點(diǎn):了解各國禮儀方面的差異,學(xué)會(huì)用be supposed to 和be
expected to句式詢問習(xí)俗。
難點(diǎn):正確運(yùn)用 be supposed to 和be expected to句式對他人提
出合理、可行的建議。

1.教師的課堂語言評價(jià)。
2.利用controled, semi-controled practice, pair work、group work的交流展示活動(dòng)等方式進(jìn)行評價(jià)。

Step One Lead-in
1. 課前播放視頻
2. From the video, we can see many greeting manners ,shaking hands, kissing,…and so on. And this is the first time we meet each other. How would you like to greet me? (ask Several Ss)So this girl, would you like to shake hands me? Would you like to hug me? Would you like to kiss me?
Step Two Presentation
1. Free Talk: what other greeting mannners do you know in the world?
2. Words Learning: Learn some greeting manners
3. Guessing Game
4. Sentence Pattern presentation: Show a map ,以China為例,引出句型:
---what are people in China supposed to do when they meet for the first time? ---They’re supposed to shake hands.
5. Finish 1a:try to match the countries with customs
Step Three Practice
1. listen and check your answers in 1a
2. Teacher checks if Ss’ answers are right, and drilling the sentence pattern:
