【教學內容】
譯林版小學英語(三年級起點)六年級上冊 Unit1 The king’s new clothes (Story time)
【教材解讀】
本課時主要學習內容Story time是安徒生經典童話《皇帝的新裝》的英文簡化版本。通過故事的學習,可以進一步培養學生學習和閱讀的興趣,促進綜合語言運用能力的提升。
【學情分析】
安徒生經典童話《皇帝的新裝》是學生在幼兒園時期甚至更早就已經讀過的一則童話故事,因此在內容層面上,學生對整個故事有了一定的了解。本課難就難在在陳述故事的過程中,文本中出現了大量的動詞過去式,且有規則的和不規則的之分,另外,動詞的過去式的發音規則也是本課的難點。因此,對于從未接觸過動詞過去式的學生來說,語法知識的學習是本課最難的一塊。需要老師細心、耐力地引導學生學習。
【教學重點】
1. 故事內容的理解。
2. 掌握規則動詞過去式的變化方式及其ed發音。
3. 掌握過去式句型的正確運用。
4. 閱讀策略的學習。
5. 在了解故事的基礎上,復述故事,并完成相應的練習。
【教學難點】
1. 故事中大量過去式的理解和運用。
2. 學生在了解故事的基礎上,復述故事。
3. 詞匯方面:對動詞過去式的理解,記憶,以及規則動詞過去式ed的發音
4. 對過去時這一時態的理解,即對過去時句式的理解和掌握
【學習目標】
A. 知識目標:
1. 能聽懂、會讀、會說: king, clothes, was, were, magic, clever, foolish, walk through, people, shout, beautiful, wear, point at, laugh.
2.掌握過去式的構成:(1)be動詞 was, were; (2)規則動詞liked, visited, showed, walked, looked, shouted, pointed, laughed
3.掌握句型:(1)Long long ago, there was... (2) There were a lot of ... (3)過去時態的句子 (4)能聽懂、會讀、會說Clever people can see the clothes. Foolish people can’t see them. The king isn’t wearing any clothes.
B. 能力目標:
1.能正確地理解并朗讀對話內容,在教師的引導和幫助下嘗試復述對話。
2.能初步運用本課所學的詞匯和句型談論自己對所學故事的看法。
C. 情感目標:
1.能使學生認識到在生活中要敢于說真話,不虛偽。

Step 1. Pre-reading.
1、Free talk.
What day is it today? How’s the weather today?(教天氣cloudy,cool, hot等詞)
What are you wearing today?(教wear,wearing)I feel a little bit hot, so I’m wearing a T-shirt today. I know some of you like new and pretty clothes. Right? Now I’ll show you a story about a king who liked new clothes very much. (Show the king on the blackboard.)
2、 放視頻,問:Was the king clever or foolish? PPT打出句子,標示中文“聰明”和“愚蠢”,教讀兩個新詞。(目的,初步感知故事)
Step 2. While-reading.
1、After watching, we know the story is about the king and the king’s new clothes. (Show the title: The king’s new clothes.練讀標題)
2、We all know this story, because this is an old story. It happened long long ago. (PPT: ‘long long ago’, 標中文,很久很久以前。)
3、Now let’s listen to an easier one and try to fill in the blanks. 中文解釋下要求:看逆讀填空,聽錄音,填空。
4、聽過之后,一句句核對答案(暫時不解釋過去式),PPT上文章打出來。
5、問題:Some words are very special. Did you find them?讓學生自己在文中劃出并說出文中的規則動詞過去式,然后PPT上列出來:(師在黑板上按照一定的順序將關鍵的動詞過去式板書)

提醒這兩個特殊的
is was
are were
解釋一般現在時的概念,動詞的變化規則。(目的:了解規則動詞過去式的變化方式)
6、問題:它們都是加ed,那讀音是不是相同呢?聽第二遍課文,找答案
PPT歸類講ed發音。聽完之后,師再帶領學生,觸摸喉部跟讀這些過去式,再讓學生感知清輔音結尾的單詞與濁輔音和元音結尾的單詞的過去式的讀法,歸類(這個環節目標是講發音)
7、You are very clever.這么快就把這么難的新知識點掌握了,這樣我們就能自己來讀整個故事了。
學生快速自讀課文并完成相關聯系,核對填空答案。(暫時不講中文,僅跟讀)
讀后選擇題:
1. What did the king like? ( )

A. Two men. B. Two women.
3. Clever people ( ) see the clothes. Foolish people ( ) see them. (clever和foolish再次教授)

(這個環節希望學生根據文本自己理解,并完成簡單選擇題,并且在做的過程中感受過去式的用法。)
8、精講課文PPT一幅幅出示故事圖片和課文,要再打出以下生詞:
第一幅圖:long long ago, king
第二幅圖:magic,clever,foolish
第三幅圖:walk through, 感嘆句What beautiful clothes!
第四幅圖:point at, wear
(這個環節,精講課文,強調整句的讀,讓學生體會過去式在句子中的使用,也重視新詞的教授。)
Step 3. Post-reading.
1、True or false(書上P8)

The boy was foolish because he could not see the king’s new clothes. ______
(這個環節希望學生能讀得準生詞,理解課文,答得出問題。)
2、課文跟讀。
3、做拓展填空練習并核對答案,同時注意強調學生對過去式發音的糾正和強調。

4、Retell the story of The king’s new clothes according to the notes on the blackboard and the pictures of the story. 小組成員共同復述后請學生到黑板前演示復述,同時通過復述,再向整體強化一遍故事內容。
5、升華主題,告誡學生要做一個誠實的人,不要被虛榮蒙蔽雙眼:let’s be the honest man! Don’t be the foolish king!
Step 4. Homework.
1. Read the story by yourself, and try to retell the story.熟讀故事并復述。
2. Try to compose a story by yourself, and share it with others.試著編一個故事,跟他人一起分享一下。
(這個作業旨在讓學生在掌握并能講述本故事的基礎上,讓其發揮想象,創編故事,有助于激發學生的創造潛能,將生活搬進故事!)
