一、 教學內(nèi)容分析:
本課選自牛津英語四年級第一學期Module2 Unit3 I have a friend第三課時The lion and the mouse。 因為是上海課標版的教材,對老師和學生來說很陌生,但是本課的故事是大家耳熟能詳?shù)脑⒀怨适?lt;The lion and the mouse>, 但是書本上的故事是以句段形式出現(xiàn),缺少連貫性,因此我在此內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上進行了擴充,使之成為一篇完整并符合邏輯的故事。 二、 學情分析:
本課雖為四年級的課,但是因考慮到學生水平的差異性,故選用五年級學生來上。五年級學生已經(jīng)具備了一定的語言能力和閱讀能力,為這一課的學習做好了鋪墊。 三、 教學目標 1、知識目標:
1)、能了解、聽懂、讀懂詞匯 afraid, sharp, teeth, bite,并在老師的幫助下嘗試進行描述。
2)、能聽懂、讀懂核心句型He/She has…,并進行描述。 3)、能運用句型It has… 進行口頭描述。
4)、能在故事情境學習中,富有情感地按角色朗讀,表現(xiàn)出動物的情緒變化。
2、技能目標
1)、在語境中,能讀懂故事,借助關(guān)鍵信息嘗試講述或表演故事。 2)、能簡單說說對朋友的理解。
3)、語音正確、表達基本流利、內(nèi)容較完整。
3、情感目標:體會到真正的朋友應該是互相幫助、互相關(guān)愛的。 四、教學重難點
1、教學重點:
1)、通過語音提示模仿和正確朗讀核心詞匯: afraid, sharp, teeth, bite。 2)、運用句型It has… 進行口頭描述。
3)、能在故事情境學習中,富有情感地按角色朗讀,表現(xiàn)出動物的情緒變化。
2、教學難點:通過板書內(nèi)容,復述故事或表演再現(xiàn)故事情境。 五、教學方法:對話教學、情境教學、合作學習。
六、教學用具:白板課件、單詞卡片、課本主要人物圖片及頭飾。 七、教學過程: Step1. Pre-reading
1、Let’s sing<Walking in the jungle>
2、T:Listen!What animal is it?(It’s a lion.) Look at the mind map,can you make a riddle? (猜謎語,It’s a mouse.)
3、引出課題《The lion anf the mouse》
4、給出兩幅圖片,一幅是故事開始,一幅是故事結(jié)尾,讓學生說出How does the mouse feel? (picture1:sad, picture 2: happy)
(設(shè)計意圖:通過歌曲熱身,創(chuàng)造語言環(huán)境,告訴學生叢林里有許多動物,聽聲音猜猜這是什么動物?再用思維導圖讓學生編謎語,喚醒學生語言表達能力。通過給出故事的兩幅圖片,讓學生對故事大概有所了解,提起學生興趣,為什么小老鼠最后開心了呢?發(fā)散學生思維,引發(fā)學生思考。一系列的問題一步步
進入故事的學習,為后面故事的閱讀奠定基礎(chǔ)。) Step 2. While-reading
1.What makes the mouse happy? Please read the text very fast and find the answer. (設(shè)計意圖:小老鼠為什么最后開心了呢?讓學生快速瀏覽文本,對故事有個初始的了解,得出:The lion and the mouse are friends,so the mouse is very happy.) 2. But we konw the lion is big and strong, he is the king of the forest. The mouse is very small. Can they be friends? Why? How? Look at the first picture of this story, Who can read it? Find the key words.
3. Look at the picture 2, what are the key words?
4. According to the key words, retell these two paragraphs.
(設(shè)計意圖:用找關(guān)鍵詞的學習方法幫助學生記憶故事內(nèi)容,然后讓學生看著板書來描述獅子和老鼠的特征,為后面的復述故事打好基礎(chǔ)。)
5. T: The lion has big friends,but the mouse has no big friends.One day, the mouse says something to the lion, let’s listen.
6. The mouse wants to make friends with the lion. Does the lion agree? (No) But we know they are friends at last. How can they be friends? Read picture 3-5 and fine the answer.
7. Read and underline.
8. 利用思維導圖一步一步問問題,讓學生帶著問題理解故事。
Q1:The lion is in the net(貼詞條:in a net), how does the lion feel?(It is afraid.) Q2:How do the big friends do? How does the mouse do?(The big friends go away.貼詞條:go away)(The mouse is there.)
Q3:How can the little mouse help the lion? (It can bite the net.It can help the lion貼詞條:bite the net)
Q4:Now how do the lion and the mouse feel? (They feel happy.)
9. Work in pairs: Now they are friends, they are very happy. So what will they say? Discuss with your partner.
(設(shè)計意圖:用思維導圖引導學生理解故事,思路清晰、理解順暢,有效的幫助學生理解了這個故事。最后小老鼠救了獅子,獅子會說什么?小老鼠會說什么呢?培養(yǎng)了學生發(fā)散思維的能力。) Step 3. Post-reading
1.It’s a very nice story about friends. Now let’s retell the story by the key words. 2.Listen and imitate. 3.Let’s act.
4.What do you know or learn from this story?(A friend in need is a friend indeed....) 5.This story is about friends.What are friends for?( Friends should know each other, help each other,play together and love each other.)(邊說邊貼詞條.) 6. Make a story.
The mouse is in the forest. She is eating the rice.A black cat sees the mouse.He chases the mouse. And the mouse is afraid. She yuns fast and falls into a hole.
The lion is coming...
(設(shè)計意圖:讓學生復述故事,表演故事后,說出對這個故事的理解,進一步對學生進行情感態(tài)度價值觀的教育。最后創(chuàng)編故事,這次是老鼠遇到了困難,獅子又是怎么做的呢?創(chuàng)編對學生來說是一個挑戰(zhàn),如果課堂完不成可以課后進行輔導并完成。)
Step 4. Homework.
1. Read the story to you parents or friends. 2. Try to retell the story. 3. Describe a friend.
