6B 《I have a dream》
一、教學內容:六年級下冊第八單元復習拓展教學 二、教學目標:
1.能復述Storytime的內容,了解他人的夢想,并樹立自己的理想。 2.能掌握和梳理出職業類單詞的有規律的構成方式(如以“er、or、ist、man”結尾的單詞)。
3.能掌握一般將來時的用法,掌握兩個重點句型want to do以及will, should的用法。
4.會使用want to be/do 和will的句型來描述自己的夢想,并撰寫“I have a dream”的演講稿。
5.掌握一些閱讀和演講的方法和技巧。 三、教學重點:
1.學生能自主閱讀Air Jordon,讀懂內容,體會樂趣,提高自主閱讀能力. 2.學生能在引導下梳理出職業類單詞的有規律的構成方式。 四、教學難點:
會使用want to be/do 和will的句型來描述自己的夢想。 五、教學準備:
PPT, 準備好關于自己夢想的相關文章或者句子。 六、教學過程:
Step1. Before reading& Revision
1. Miss Li’s students will graduate from school soon. She wants to see their dreams come true. Children, do you know what do they want to be? (學生回憶并復述storytime內容)
2. You’ll graduate from Xiaxi Primary School soon, I wish you “Grow up happily. To be a useful person in the future.”
3. Here’s a song for you. After enjoying it, please tell me “What jobs are mentioned in the song?”
(呈現歌詞,新授lawyer, president。讓學生根據發音規則及音標拼讀出新單詞。)
4. What other jobs do you know? The words have different forms.(學生舉例,教師引導學生自主對職業類單詞進行歸類)
5. There are many jobs in the world. Can we say which is good or which is bad? No job is noble or humble.(對學生進行情感教育,工作沒有高低貴賤之分)
6. Speaking of this, what do you want to be? Why? What will you do for it? (讓學生使用want to be/do 和will的句型來描述自己的夢想,為后面撰寫“I have a dream”的演講稿做鋪墊。)
7. Where there is a will, there is a way.(告訴學生有志者事竟成) Step2. While reading
1. Do you know him? (Michael Jordan)
To know him better, I’ll send you some reading materials about Jordan.(在ipad中下發關于喬丹的相關資料,讓學生進一步了解這位曾經的籃球巨星,醞釀學生對喬丹成功之路的好奇心和興趣,為后面的語篇介入打下伏筆。) 2. Look at the word and phrase, can you introduce Jordan? (學生用fly, is good at, great組成短語或句子來簡單描述對喬丹的印象)
3. I have a story about Jordan, do you want to read it? When you meet some new words,what can you do?(給予學生閱讀技巧的指導)
4. Task1: Underline your favourite sentence and share with others.(讓學生帶著簡單的任務初讀語篇)
5. Task2: Read the story again and finish “T or F”.
(在對喬丹有了一定的了解后,再讀語篇,通過在ipad上完成的相關題目,學生從中體會到成功背后的付出是艱辛的,對于夢想有了更多層面的理解。) 6. Jordan is not a basketball now, he is a boss who cares about charities. From his success, what can we learn from him?(學生各抒己見,通過喬丹的故事,學生對于夢想、對于成功有了自己的理解和詮釋)
7. To make dreams come true, we should work hard, never give up and believe in yourselves. Let’s read some proverbs about dreams.(學生齊讀夢想格言,升華本環節)
Step3. After reading
1.Children, you will graduate from our school soon, and I think all of you have a dream in your heart. Let’s make a speech about your dreams, OK? But how to make a good speech?
2.write the speech well: What? Why? How? ...引導學生從這些方面撰寫“I have a dream”的演講稿。 know the speaking skills
Look at the man, he’s Martin Luther King. He’s a great leader. He made a speech“I have a dream”. Let’s watch a video about his famous speech. T:How do you think of his speech? S: Loud, fluent, emotional, expressive...(通過播放馬丁路德金的演講視頻,學生自己體會到演講需要具備的技巧)
3.Now let’s make our speech.(Write& revise→ take a photo→ prepare in groups→ give a speech) Step4. Homework
1. Give the speech to your family or your friends.Ask them to give you some advice (建議)。
2. Revise (修改) your speech.
3.Prepare (準備) for the PK in our class.
