通過閱讀趣味故事,復習鞏固三四年級有關食物話題的語言及詞匯,增加學生語言的輸入。
能力目標:
1、能夠朗讀并分角色表演故事。
2、能夠恰當運用已知語言,模擬點餐情境創編新的故事。
情感目標:
滲透生活常識:做人要講誠信;合理點餐,拒絕浪費,打包剩菜。
2重點難點
教學重點:
理解并能分角色表演故事。
教學難點:
句型“Anything else? Here’s your bill.”的運用。
3學情分析
學生年齡在十歲左右,生性活潑好動,喜歡直觀形象思維,對游戲競賽特別感興趣。學生從三年級開始學習英語,至今已積累了一定的詞匯,具有一定的英語表達能力,而且有了一定的英語思維能力。學生在學習本節課內容已經學過了句型Can I help you? Welcome! Hello! What would you like? I’d like some … Would you like some…? Yes, please. /No, thanks.已經掌握了食物飲料類的的詞匯rice, beef, noodles, soup, vegetables, juice, egg, cake, milk, fish, bread, hamburger,故事表演是學生喜愛的一項學習活動。學習有趣的故事,用英語去表演故事對他們來說是一件非常新鮮、有趣的事。

活動1【導入】Warm-up

用故事中出現的小鳥做熱身活動,為后面的故事呈現做鋪墊。通過趣味游戲復習鞏固已知的食物單詞和重點句型,調動課堂氣氛,為學生架起一座由中文思維向英語思維過渡的橋梁。
活動2【講授】Presentation
1). Meet Mr. Cat and Zip
Who is he? He is Mr Cat. He has a restaurant.
Who is coming? Zip.
Why does Zip come to the restaurant? Because she is hungry.
And Mr Cat says,: Hello! What would you like?
What can Zip say?
She can say: I’d like some…
Let’s guess what Zip would like to eat.
出示故事圖,通過對故事圖的討論引出故事中的人物、地點以及故事發生的背景,讓學生對故事的發生有個大致的認識,然后提出問題猜一猜Zip想吃什么,問題的提出,會讓學生有話可說,并且圍繞著本單元的主要話題來展開,激發了學生的語言表達的欲望。

通過設問——詢答,分段觀看故事,層層引導學生深入故事、了解故事,體驗故事的趣味性。
3).I can say.
Zip has eaten so much food. Can you eat them all?

通過師生對話、生生對話,對主要句型進行對話操練,提高其語言表達能力。
4).Talk about the end.
Look at the Picture 5. Here’s a paper in Mr Cat’s hand. It’s a bill. What happened then?
Watch the end and talk about how Mr Cat and Zip feel.
The bird takes away the bill. How does Mr Cat feel?
Is Mr Cat happy or angry?
How about Zip? Choose the right answer.

揭示故事的結尾,這是學生們沒有想到的,會帶給他們一個大大的驚喜。同時,引導學生觀察圖片,并適時的進行德育教育,做一個講誠信的人。

活動4【活動】Consolidation

這個環節旨在讓學生的課堂知識得以延伸,以情境模擬的方式,鍛煉學生的語言綜合運用能力。讓學生主動參與,并積極思考,設想情景,組織語言,豐富英語課堂的內容涵量。
