六個小組各備一支不同顏色的彩筆和一張彩紙,準備做海報之需。
【教師課堂教學目標設計】
I.語言知識目標(Knowledge objectives)

Enable students to learn the key words such as position, annual, measure, crash...and phrases like fine one’s way to... and paraphrase them;

Enable students to to understand the text and find out the proper words to describe monarch’s migration
-
Enable students to speak about the definition, reason, trouble, causes and solution of monarch’s migration.

Enable students to write about animal migration and measures of protecting animals’ habitats.

Step1 Leading-in
Ask students the 3 questions while showing pictures on slides.
1. Do you have a pet at home? Why do you love him/her?
2.Name the animals in zoos and in the wild.
3.Look the pictures and see which of them migrate.
【設計意圖】
1. 通過與學生關于飼養寵物的回答,引入人與動物這一主題,學生通過表達養寵物的原因表達了人與動物和諧融洽的關系,接著讓學生列舉動物園或野外動物,引起學生用英語表達動物的興趣。教師呈現各種動物的圖片,繼而強化動物是人類的好朋友這一主題。現身說法,我也有很多野生動物的朋友,他們在秋季都有一個特點,就是遷徙,從而引出話題。用擬人化的方法,說我新交了一位蝴蝶朋友 Anna, 她告訴我她和家人也要有一個 long journey, 起初我們都不相信,所以 Anna 給我
們一個樹葉上面可以解答這個自然界神奇的現象,激發學生和我一起探索蝴蝶 Anna 歷險記的興趣。本文以此為主線貫穿全文,旨在拉近和動物的距離以及抓住學生的好奇心。

對于 Para.3 里的 How can they make it?先播放一段視頻,其實是為了讓
學生對帝王蝶的辨別方向的能力有一個更直觀的認識,其二讓學生帶著問題去看視頻,從而進行下聽力的微技能練習。讀完后再去閱讀文本就更加容易了。本段的設計旨在加深學生對帝王蝶特殊能力的了解,進而增加孩子們對該蝴蝶的喜愛。第二個問題是概要的微技能練習,為了鍛煉學生的概括總結能力。
