教學(xué)目標(biāo)
(1)知識(shí)與技能目標(biāo)
A. 掌握一些與毒品有關(guān)的詞匯:
addictive, break into, cannabis, drug dealer, inject, powerful, heart rate等
B. 技能
通過(guò)閱讀訓(xùn)練,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取語(yǔ)篇信息的能力,掌握閱讀技巧,如略讀,訓(xùn)讀(skimming, scanning, and careful-reading);培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析、處理、利用信息的能力;培養(yǎng)學(xué)生敘述的能力。
(2)過(guò)程與方法
培養(yǎng)學(xué)生篩選局部和整體信息的能力和獨(dú)立閱讀能力,通過(guò)自主學(xué)習(xí)和協(xié)作學(xué)習(xí),獲取信息和處理信息的能力。
( 3 ) 情感態(tài)度和價(jià)值觀目標(biāo)
讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)到毒品的危害性,提高自我保護(hù)意識(shí),養(yǎng)成良好生活習(xí)慣,珍愛(ài)生命,遠(yuǎn)離毒品。
2學(xué)情分析
教學(xué)對(duì)象為高一學(xué)生,通過(guò)初中三年的學(xué)習(xí),大部分學(xué)生已掌握一定的語(yǔ)言技能,具有一定的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ),語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)興趣較濃,表現(xiàn)欲較強(qiáng),但良好的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣仍需進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)與鞏固。因此,教師要通過(guò)創(chuàng)設(shè)語(yǔ)境,設(shè)計(jì)難度適中、可操作性強(qiáng)的任務(wù),并且配以清晰的指令,和簡(jiǎn)潔的示范,激發(fā)學(xué)生積極、主動(dòng)地進(jìn)行語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。

如何運(yùn)用所學(xué)的詞匯以分組討論的方式復(fù)述課文。

4.1第一學(xué)時(shí)
4.1.1教學(xué)活動(dòng)
活動(dòng)1【活動(dòng)】Step 1 Greeting and vocabulary-checking (3分鐘 )
檢查學(xué)生的單詞預(yù)習(xí)情況(檢查P 12的activity 1單詞練習(xí))。給出學(xué)生英語(yǔ)釋義,讓學(xué)生寫出對(duì)應(yīng)的單詞或短語(yǔ)。如:
(1) The pressure that your heart applied to blood to send it round the body (blood pressure )
(2). Once you‘ve started something, you can not stop it. (addictive )
(3). A person who sells drugs illegally (drug dealer )
(4). A person who takes drugs and is unable to stop (drug addict )
(5). To enter a house illegally probably to steal something (break into )
(6). To use needle to put liquid into a person’s body (inject )
活動(dòng)2【導(dǎo)入】Step 2 Lead-in (4分鐘)
Show students several pictures about poppy. Ask students: When you see those pictures, what words come to your mind? Brainstorming
利用多媒體呈現(xiàn)幾張罌粟花的照片,讓學(xué)生以頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式說(shuō)出他們聯(lián)想到的詞語(yǔ),之后我引入毒品和與毒品相關(guān)的內(nèi)容。繼續(xù)呈現(xiàn)三幅關(guān)于毒品圖片,分別為opium (鴉片),cannabis (大麻),cocaine (可卡因),幫助學(xué)生了解毒品的一些類型。隨后呈現(xiàn)吸毒者瘦骨嶙峋的照片,與之前呈現(xiàn)的美麗花朵作對(duì)比,讓學(xué)生意識(shí)到毒品危害。接著幻燈片中引入課本中圖片,讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)主人公Adam發(fā)生了什么,從而導(dǎo)入文章的學(xué)習(xí)。
活動(dòng)3【講授】Step3 Fast-reading(11分鐘)
1. Skimming掠讀(5分鐘)
Read the two paragraphs on page 12 quickly, then decide what the topic of each article is. ( Topic sentences, reading skills)
Match the best title with Article 1 and Article 2.

2、 Scanning(掃讀)(6分鐘)
Scan Parts 1-6 on page 13 and decide which Articles they belong to and what the right order is. Ask students if there are words that they do not know.通過(guò)上一個(gè)活動(dòng)學(xué)生已知兩篇文章的主要內(nèi)容。閱讀13頁(yè)1-6段,判斷這些段落分別屬于哪篇文章。

1. Read article1 on page 12-13 and answer the following questions:
(1) How old was Adam when he used drugs?
(2) Who did he buy cannabis from?
(3) What are the two ways of taking drugs?
(4) What was the second drug that the man sold him?
(5) How did Adam pay for the drugs?
(6) What did the police do?
2. Careful-reading 仔細(xì)閱讀,將正確信息填入表中。(5分鐘)
Please read Part 1 to Part 6 carefully, and fill in the blanks.
Adam is a 19-year-old boy. He used to be a drug addict. Cocaine is a kind of drug, which can increase user’s heart ( 1 ) and blood ( 2 ) and also causes ( 3 ) behaviors. In order to ( 4 ) the drugs, Adam ( 5 ) ( 6 ) a house and ( 7 ) a television for money. He was ( 8 ) by the police. At last, he stopped using drugs and helped others stop ( 9 ) drugs.

1.Ask students to make sentences with phrases that we have learned. And then I will set an example to retell the article together with students.
2.Ask students to work in groups , and try to use key words to retell the outline of the articles .
3.Let several groups to show their performance.

活動(dòng)6【作業(yè)】Step 6 Summary and Homework(9分鐘)
1.Summarize what we can learn from the text. From the text, we haven known that drugs are very harmful to our health. We should not only keep away from drugs and live a healthy life but also help others to stop using drugs.
2.Work in groups , write a letter for drug addicts in order to persuade them to give up taking drugs. Then show your letters next class.
總結(jié)學(xué)到的內(nèi)容,并讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)向吸毒者寫一封勸說(shuō)信。
