學(xué)情分析
1.情感和認(rèn)知方面:學(xué)生對(duì)國外的學(xué)習(xí)生活情況了解是很感興趣的,在以往的學(xué)習(xí)閱讀中對(duì)國外的生活學(xué)習(xí)也有所了解,但不是很具體。這篇關(guān)于中國女孩在倫敦學(xué)習(xí)和生活情況的介紹和他們的生活比較貼近,在在預(yù)讀,學(xué)習(xí),討論時(shí)會(huì)覺得比較親近熟悉。
2.語言技能方面:本班多數(shù)學(xué)生的英語語言能力處于年級(jí)的中等水平,具備較高的獨(dú)立思維能力,通過老師的引導(dǎo)和提示,一般能
夠文本閱讀中獲取主要信息和重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容,能根據(jù)閱讀目的運(yùn)用適當(dāng)?shù)拈喿x策略完成閱讀任務(wù)。但是他們還欠缺分析和處理深層文本信息的能力以及有效歸納總結(jié)文本信息的能力。因此,教師應(yīng)該充分考慮到本節(jié)課教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)中的任務(wù)探究是否能為學(xué)生搭好梯子,是否形成合適的認(rèn)知梯度,是否開展鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參與的小組活動(dòng)和個(gè)體探究任務(wù),是否完成本節(jié)課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容和達(dá)成本節(jié)課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)。
教材分析 本節(jié)課以Studying abroad為主要話題,旨在通過文本閱讀教學(xué),使學(xué)生通過實(shí)例(中國女孩謝蕾在倫敦的學(xué)習(xí)生活情況)對(duì)比國內(nèi)外學(xué)習(xí)生活的不同,使學(xué)生了解在國外學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)收獲的益處和可能遇到的一些問題,并學(xué)會(huì)怎樣解決問題和避免這些問題的發(fā)生,學(xué)會(huì)
分析、歸納、總結(jié)、表達(dá)個(gè)人觀點(diǎn),能用所學(xué)的有關(guān)studying abroad
的詞匯描述在國外學(xué)習(xí)、生活的益處、困難、對(duì)策,從而培養(yǎng)他們的國際視眼。為此,本人根據(jù)主要話題、次要話題和支撐性細(xì)節(jié)將文本進(jìn)行二次整合,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生樹立文本信息的脈絡(luò),為書信寫作做好準(zhǔn)備。

Step1 Lead-in
T: Good afternoon, everybody! Ss: Good afternoon, Ms Yao.
T: Have you ever travelled abroad? Ss: No.
T: No one? It is a great pity. Do you think travelling abroad is much fun? Ss: Yeah! T: Why?
S1: Because we can learn about foreign culture. S2: We can learn some foreign language. S3: We can admire beautiful scenery.
T: Great! Travelling abroad is a really wonderful experience, for we can be exposed to foreign art and culture, rewarded with amazing scenery and can have great fun taking part in interesting activities.
T: How about studying abroad? Is it as much fun as traveling abroad? Ss: No!
T: What do you think of it? S4: It may be difficult.
T: Bingo! Studying abroad can be much fun and great challenge, as well.

T: We are going to read a passage about a Chinese student studying abroad. Let’s read the title “keep it up, Xie Lei Chinese student fitting in well”. According to the title, what do you think Xie Lei probably went through in the beginning? S5: She might have met with much difficulty in the beginning. T: How is she now getting on? S6: She is already fitting in well.

T: You are supposed to read Paragraphs 2 and 5, finding out her difficulty.
