“More ways to combine sentences”是高中英語語法與詞匯第14單元的內容,本堂課是第二課時,在結合教材知識點與延展運用的基礎上提煉“How to polish the
sentences”向學生重點講授整合句子、潤色句子。本次教學以Beyond《光輝歲月》引入對曼德拉維護和平的話題描述,以此為語境幫助學生掌握并列句、狀語從句、定語從句、非謂語做定語和狀語、強調句和倒裝句等5種潤色句子的方法,并與生活實踐相結合進行綜合運用。
學情分析
1.知識基礎:學生已掌握一定的句子構成的語法基礎和詞匯儲備知識,能夠參與本課“描述曼德拉”話題的展開,以及進行句子的整合與潤色活動。
2.心理及技能特點:以分組PK賽“破冰”和“團建”更利于學生參與積極性和課堂
活躍度,結合生活實際學以致用更有利于語言輸出和鞏固技能。
3.學習需求:句子的整合在日常交際和寫作中使用頻度非常高,但學生們對整合潤色句子的需求以及技能掌握的欠缺構成了本課的迫切需要,對于提升句子的豐滿度和寫作的質感具有極大的幫助。 教學目標

2.探索研討—以整合性教學和開放性教學相結合的方式開展分組討論競賽,從語篇閱讀中實踐5種整合潤色句子的方法;

教學反思
一、取得的成效
(一)營造了積極學習的氛圍。通過多媒體教學方式,從廣受學生喜愛的流行樂隊BEYOND《光輝歲月》引入unit5學生熟悉的偉人——納爾遜·曼德拉,通過分組競賽的開放性教學,采用了積極的激勵方式和評價方式,將學生置于愉悅的情境中學習,學生在課堂上表現相當踴躍,整堂課保持了高度的學習激情,全員參與
到討論學習中,學生的音樂、社交、價值觀等非智力因素得到了發展。
(二)強化了潤色句子的方法。通過發揮學生的主體性、能動性,讓學生自主式、創造式學習,提升了學生的學習能力,達到了“授人以漁”的目的。同時,在授課過程中考慮因人施教的問題,注重引導思考和正確指導。
(三)激發了小組合作的精神。本節課共設計了七個環節,其中有individual work, group work, class work。做到了還課堂給學生,以學生為主體,使學生在活動中相互幫助、合作提升,并對小組榮譽產生責任和激情。

(四)提升了運用實踐的能力。本節課以培養學生養成潤色句子的意識和訓練學生潤色句子的能力為主題。圍繞描寫人物的話題,主題明確,話題貼近學生。同時還激發了學生對偉人的敬仰,使學生樹立正確的榜樣。
二、存在的不足
(一)對個體關注的不足。事后通過反思,對第六組個別反復舉手參與答題的學生一直未點名答題,可能刺傷了該學生的積極性,應予以事后溝通補救。
(二)課前檢查不夠充分。課前未認真查看黑板筆,板書開始時不夠顯現。
