Grammar: Subjunctive Mood
Step1 Enjoy a song

Step2 Grammar study
(學生通過觀察,自己發現語法現象,總結語法規則。) 1. Observing and learning
Type 1. If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.
The sentence refers to a factual situation, so we call it a real conditional sentence.
Type 2. If I had a lot of money, I would buy a villa.
Type 3. If you had got up earlier, you would have caught the first train. Type 4. If the sun were to/should go out tomorrow, we would live in the dark.
The above sentences refer to situations that are not true or not likely to become true, so we call them unreal conditional sentences and we use subjunctive mood. 2. Summary

If I Were a Boy Again
If I were a boy again. I would practice perseverance(毅力)more often, and never give up a thing. If we want light we must conquer(征服)darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results.” There are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “Who can surmount(到……頂) the pyramids—the eagle and the snail."
If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention;I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grownup people say, “I could not fix attention to the book, although I wished to do so".The reason is that the habit was not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation(培養)of the memory. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately, but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I’d cultivate courage. Nothing is so mild and gentle as courage;nothing is so cruel and pitiless as cowardice(怯懦).Life is very much like a mirror :If you smile upon it, it smiles back upon you;but if you frown(皺眉)and look doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.
Finally, if I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. I’d still try harder to make others happy.
