Learning Objectives學習目標
1. Students will be able to talk about their interests and hobbies.
2. Students will be able to cultivate their wide interests and hobbies to enrich their lives.
Important and difficult points 重難點
1.Words and phrases: spare, in one’s spare time, hobby, be interested in, be fond of, act, collect, plant, paint
2. How to use be interested in, love, enjoy, prefer, be fond of, like to express likes and dislikes.
3. How to talk about hobbies.
Teaching procedures 教學步驟
Step1、Review.
Lead-in. Do you really know about Miss Yu? Learn the new words”hobby”, ”in one’s spare time”, “comic”.
Step 2、Listen, read and say
1. Listen to 1a and match the halves.
unciation and intonation.
3. Role-play: Pair work. Practice 1a with your partner or you can make similar conversations. Act it out in pairs. (大膽發揮,真實交流,流暢,有創造力,感染力)
A: What do you often do in your spare time?
B: I often ________. It's my favorite hobby. And I also enjoy _________. It's great fun. Well, what's your hobby?
A: I'm a ____ fan. I __________________.
B: Why not _________________?
A: Sounds good! Maybe I need a change.
Step3、Look, listen and say
1. Look at the picture, and guess what they like to do.
(根據圖片進行表達, 充分發揮自己的想象力吧。)
2. Listen to the tape to check whether you are right and find out what else can be used to express likes .
3. Let’s sing a song written by Miss Yu. Then do some exercise. (大聲唱出來,你就是superstar!)

Step 4、Survey (Group work)
1. Survey the classmates about their hobbies. Try to survey as many students as possible. You can walk around. Attention: 1).What you talk should be real (真實) . 2). Talk in English. 3). 先組內調查,然后大組,再全班. 4). 調查人數最多的同學獲勝
2. Show it:(有興趣愛好的人是快樂的,能和大家一起分享一下嗎?你為什么會喜歡它,從中獲得了什么?)
Step5、Homework(通過這節課的活動,你們一定對班上同學的興趣愛好有所了解了,但是你知道家人的興趣愛好嗎?快調查一下吧。)
Find out your family members' hobbies and write a passage using the key words. (like doing ; love doing ; enjoy doing; prefer doing; be fond of doing; be interested in doing )
