一、教學內(nèi)容分析
本模塊是八年級上冊的第二模塊，以學生熟悉的“家鄉(xiāng)”為主要話題， 圍繞地理位置，人口，地方名勝和地標建筑等內(nèi)容，通過開展聽、說、讀、寫活動，幫助學生學習和使用形容詞比較級進行比較。本模塊形容詞比較級的學習，能夠為學生后續(xù)三、四模塊學習形容詞和副詞的比較級和最高級奠定良好的基礎(chǔ)。
本模塊計劃五課時完成，本課是第一課時，課型是聽說課。本課對話內(nèi)容主要圍繞大明和Tony 談論并比較深圳和香港兩個城市展開。通過聽，說，讀活動，學生能夠感知形容詞的比較級的變化形式，理解其對兩者進行比較的表意功能。
二、教學目標 1．語言知識目標：
1、根據(jù)形容詞在句子中的重讀，幫助理解重讀詞匯在句子中所強調(diào)的信息。 2、理解和領(lǐng)悟以下詞匯在課文中的意義，并學會運用，如hill, population
million, wide, large等
3、能在對話中感知形容詞（如tall, wide, big, busy等）比較級的變化形式
理解并能恰當運用形容詞比較級形式來比較城市。
2．語言技能目標：
1、能通過聽獲取本課對話的的主要信息如談話主題，城市地理位置，人口，
標志性建筑；
2、能在對話分析基礎(chǔ)上借助表格，圖示等用簡單的語言和形容詞比較級介紹
或?qū)Ρ葍勺鞘小?nbsp;
3、能連貫朗讀課文；能理解對話大意，從中找出有關(guān)信息；能通過對文本的
理解，體會說話者的情感。
3. 情感目標：
通過深圳的今昔對比感受城市的發(fā)展變化，感受生活越來越好；通過其他城市與家鄉(xiāng)的對比，發(fā)現(xiàn)家鄉(xiāng)的優(yōu)勢和存在的不足，激發(fā)學生為建設(shè)更美好的家鄉(xiāng)做出努力。
三、教學重點和難點
重點：感知形容詞在語境中的意義以及其比較級的變化形式。 難點：能運用所學名詞和形容詞對兩座城市進行對比。
四、教學流程與設(shè)計意圖 Step 1 Lead in
1.激發(fā)學生學習興趣，導入課題
T: Do you want to watch a video of cities? 2. 視頻圖片相結(jié)合，熟悉話題相關(guān)詞匯。
T: What can you see in the picture? 【設(shè)計意圖】
1.借助視頻吸引學生的注意力，引起學生興趣，直觀感受我國城市的特點，導入本課主題。
2. 借助視頻和圖片，激發(fā)學生表達欲望，促進其使用已知詞匯，描述城市特點，為下面聽力前活動熱身。
Step 2 Listening 1. 聽前詞匯準備
Students describe the picture of Hong Kong and learn new words: hill, high, wide , population, large. 2. 聽前預測
T: A guide is introducing these two cities. Guess: what will he tell us? 3. 第一遍聽獲取主要信息
Students listen and check what basic information the guide is introducing. 4. 第二遍聽獲取細節(jié)信息
Students listen and fill in the blanks.
5. 聽后復述聽力內(nèi)容，注意介紹城市基本邏輯順序
Students introduce Shanghai and Hong Kong by using the information they have got. 【設(shè)計意圖】
1. 詞匯理解。聽前給出圖片，幫助學生理解新單詞的含義。
2. 點讀正音。借助點讀筆，使學生掌握詞匯的正確讀音，為下面的聽力活
動做準備。
3. 培養(yǎng)學習策略。并指導學生邊聽邊記錄主要信息點，培養(yǎng)學生良好的學
習習慣，并形成學習策略。
4. 聽獲取主要信息如地理位置，人口，標志性建筑等。學生使用剛才學習
的詞匯來完成任務，再次加深對詞匯的理解和掌握。同時學生熟悉話題，了解介紹城市的基本流程。
5. 信息轉(zhuǎn)換。聽后，老師針對兩點信息進行提問，學生利用所獲取的信息
可直觀感受比較級，理解比較級的表達意義；隨后，利用圖片和獲取的信息復述所聽內(nèi)容，完成信息傳遞。

3. 師生互動，生生互動梳理對話內(nèi)容，同時教師板書，呈現(xiàn)比較級變化規(guī)律，
學生感性認識比較級。 Past: a small village
new : became important in the 1980s
Now: big : Population(over10 million) : lager than… beautiful Streets: cleaner wider Buildings: taller than… (getting bigger and busier) Future: as busy as Hong Kong
4. 點讀筆點讀句子，學生體會重讀規(guī)律及意義；學生模仿語音語調(diào)，體會情感。 • That’s larger than the population of many other cities. • Its streets are much wider and cleaner too. • It’s taller than many other buildings. • It’s getting bigger and busier.
Some day it will become as busy as Hong Kong I’m sure. How was your week end? Pretty good! I think it’s a beautiful city. I’d like to go there one day.
5. 觀看視頻，激發(fā)表達欲望，將所獲得的信息進行加工，轉(zhuǎn)述對話內(nèi)容即介紹深圳。
T: How great the changes are！Would you like to introduce the beautiful city to more people?
【設(shè)計意圖】
1. 獲取對話主要信息，如事實觀點等；
2. 獲取細節(jié)信息。邊聽邊完成信息填寫，對城市的基本信息有所了解。 3. 文本的深層理解。師生就對話內(nèi)容進行梳理，幫助學生對文本內(nèi)容有深層的理解。板書呈現(xiàn)核心內(nèi)容形容詞比較級，學生可觀察不同顏色和豎列排放的布局來感知不同形容詞比較級的變化規(guī)則。
4. 點讀幫助學生使用正確語調(diào)。教師點讀兩城市對比的句子，學生根據(jù)形容詞在句子中的重讀，理解重讀詞匯在句子中所強調(diào)的信息。借助點讀筆朗點讀出情感充沛的語調(diào)，幫助學生體會文字背后的情感。 5. 完成信息轉(zhuǎn)換，進行語言輸出。學生使用形容詞比較級對城市今昔進行比較，并發(fā)表自己的觀點。
6. 情感升華。在梳理對話時，學生可通過自己的理解，板書，以及視頻感受深圳的變化，感受生活越來越好。
Step 4 Use
1.布置學生活動任務，學生使用本課所學進行表達。
T: Which city do you like better? Why do you think it’s better than your home town? Why your home town is better than other cities? Students work in group and debate. 2. 教師做活動總結(jié)，升華情感。 【設(shè)計意圖】
1.用家鄉(xiāng)和深圳,上海或香港作對比，檢測學生是否達能理解比較級的對比功能，同時，將課本內(nèi)的知識遷移出來，用使用所學知識進行比較。
2.設(shè)置討論活動，讓學生能夠在討論中提升綜合運用語言的能力。最后教師的總結(jié)，達到情感上的升華。
Step 5 Feedback
1. The streets in Dalian are ________(clean) than those in other cities.
2. The population of Shanghai is ___________(large) than the population of Hong Kong.
