2教學目標
1、語言知識目標:掌握hill, population, wide, than , south, be famous for ,等詞匯,以及單音節詞和部分雙音節詞的比較級形式,形容詞比較級-er的讀音。2、語言技能目標:能比較兩個地方的不同,能聽懂讀懂介紹家鄉的對話,并用所學語言介紹自己的家鄉。
3學情分析
八年級一班總有學生49人,經過一年的學習,已經具備了初步的邏輯思維能力和簡單抽象的概括能力。養成了良好的英語學習習慣,掌握了一些科學 的學習方法。學生們無論在理解問題的能力,還是分析問題,解決問題的能力均有所提高。基礎知識掌握得比較牢固。同學們對英語學習有著濃厚的興趣,樂于參與到學習活動中。
4重點難點
1、掌握單音節詞和部分雙音節詞形容詞的用法。2、能聽懂看懂含有比較級句型的介紹家鄉的對話。3、能運用所學知識,介紹自己的家鄉。

活動1【導入】warming
Summer holiday is coming .Ask the students " Where are you going on your holiday ?"
活動2【導入】watch a video
watch a vedio about Shanghai and Hongkong,.
活動3【活動】talk about the two cities
talk about these two cities, present some important sentences ,such as : What's the population of Shanghai?
Shanghai is bigger than Hongkong.
read the sentences .
活動4【講授】conclude the rules of comparison by themselves
read the sentences and discuss with partners , tell the rules of comparison.
活動5【練習】exercise
do some exercise about comparison .check the answers one by one .
活動6【活動】practise
practise comprasion by some pictures
活動7【練習】introduce our hometown－－Nanning
introduce our hometown by filling a short passage with some words .
