一、教材分析:
1. 本節課主要讓學生談論自己應該做和不應該做的事,學會表達自己的觀點。在語法方面,讓學生掌握“should be allowed to do”結構和“I agree/I disagree”句型。
2. 通過這節課的學習,讓學生認識到父母老師的合理化建議對他們成長的重要性。
二、學情分析:
1.青少年這個階段有自己的認知能力,對事情的處理也有自己的看法。 2.學生以前學過被動語態,所以對本課內容應該能較好掌握。
3.一些學生的詞匯量有限,想表達自己的觀點是會有一定的困難。
三、教學目標:
1. 知識目標:理解2b課文內容,并掌握一些單詞,短語和句式。 2. 能力目標:
(1) 能通過閱讀瀏覽文章標題、插圖、每段首末句來獲取文章主旨大意或中心思想。 (2) 在語言運用過程中學習和掌握語言知識,學會表達自己的觀點。 3. 情感目標:
讓學生通過閱讀這篇課文引發對未來的思考。鼓勵學生積極地為夢想努力,同時也應讓他們了解在通往夢想的道路上可能存在的風險和失敗。
四、教學重難點:
重點:讓學生理解文章大意, 并學會運用閱讀中所學的詞匯和句式。 難點:理解文章大意,清晰地表達自己的觀點。
五、學習策略:
1. 通過瀏覽文章標題、插圖、每段的首末句來獲取文章的主旨大意或中心思想。 2. 學生先學 ,教師后教。在語言的運用過程中學習。
六、教具:教學光盤,PPT, 課本 七、教學過程:
Step One: Lead-in
1. Write the title of the unit “Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes” and explain it.
2. Show some pictures and talk about hobbies and dreams with students. “What’s your hobby? What do you want to be when you grow up?” 3. Show photos of Li Yuchun and Liu Xiang, and ask and answer.
“What does she want to be? She wants to be a singer.”
“What does he want to be? He wants to be a professional runner. Many boys want to be a professional runner like Liu Xiang.”
Step Two: Reading
1. Discuss the questions in 2a.
Are you allowed to make your own decisions at home? What kinds of decisions? 2. Fast reading. ---獲取信息(摘取關鍵詞,在原文勾畫出原句)
Read 2b and answer the following questions, and try to make the students get the main idea of the passage.
(1) What does he want to be? He wants to be a professional runner. (2) What’s his hobby? He loves running.
(3) What does he think about running? He thinks “I’m serious about running. It’s the only thing that I’ve ever wanted to do.”
(4) What do his parents want him to do? His parents want him to study hard at school and enter university.
(5) Does Wang Yu agree with his parents? No, he doesn’t really agree.
(6) Do his parents support his dream? Why do his parents disagree with him? 3. Read the passage carefully again and get the information to finish the 2c.
Step Three: Careful reading (1) Pair work.
Read the passage the third time to finish the 2d.
Discuss with your partner, and check your answers. Underline the difficulties. (2) Group work.
Finish off the difficulties, and make your own sentences with the phrases.
Step Four: Language points and summary
1. Discuss and sum up the language points in groups or in class. 2. Explain the difficulties.

八、教學反思:
本篇閱讀是一篇議論文,重點是領會劉育和父母的觀點和沖突,對學生來說有一定難度。所以,在fast reading教學過程中,我精心設計問題,一步一步地引導學生了解文章的主旨大意,了解劉育的愛好和夢想是當一名職業跑步運動員,而父母卻不同意。父母認為他很難成功,他應該好好學習,考大學。如果學生們明白了劉育和父母的觀點和沖突就很容易理解本篇文章了。
在Language points和造句方面,時間有點緊張,有的學生在語言運用方面有點弱,還需要進一步鞏固和練習。
