課 題：Unit 6 An Old Man Tried to Move the Mountains. 教 材：人教版新目標英語8年級下 授課教師：銀川九中閱海分校 劉輝
教材簡析：本單元圍繞“傳說和故事”這個話題，談論過去發生的事情，重點訓練“講故事”這個
語言功能項目。通過學習，要求學生掌握如何用過去時態講述一個故事，描述古老的傳說和有趣的故事，激發和培養學生學習英語的興趣，理解并體會傳說和故事的教育意義。本節課是本單元的第六課時，課型定為復習課，在了解目標語言的基礎上，要求學生以“講故事” 為話題展開聽說讀寫練習，能理解優美的傳說和有趣的故事，掌握故事的基本結構和要素，把握寫作技巧，講述自己喜愛的故事；教育學生在生活中不怕困難，培養他們不言放棄的精神，并弘揚真善美。
學情分析：八年級學生從認知水平上看，有一定的英語學習基礎，學生對本單元的話題興趣也很濃
厚。此外，初中學生喜歡直觀形象思維，對圖片、電影、競賽等特別感興趣，因此，我設置了較多的互動，設計的環節也比較有趣，參與性強并貼合學生的興趣。在本課的教學過程中，我注重啟發引導，培養學生分析、概括、和小組合作能力的同時，更注重教學方法的靈活性，通過任務型教學法、情景交際法等，激發學生學習的興趣，讓學生樂于接受，易于接受，避免課堂的單調枯燥使學生產生疲勞。
教學目標：1. 結合故事語境復習本單元新詞shoot, stone, weak, god, remind, Western, marry等。
2. 學會在故事中正確運用本單元重點連詞unless, as soon as, so… that等表示順序和邏輯關系。
3. 能借助when, where, who, why, how, what等引導的疑問句完成故事的敘述。 4. 學會根據提示信息用英語寫故事。 5. 欣賞故事并領悟故事所表達的意義。
教學重點：1. 復習本單元的新詞及重點連詞。
2. 借助when, where, who, why, how, what等用內容概括的形式對故事進行語言輸出。 3. 運用所學詞句及框架結構完成寫作任務。
教學難點：1. 將熟悉的中西方故事內容用符合英語表達習慣和思維的語言表達出來。
2. 嘗試用表演的形式在模擬情境中進行語言輸出。 3. 領悟故事所傳達的思想和教育意義。
教學方法：情景創設法，圖片展示法，任務型教學法，3P法 (展示—練習—生成)
教學效果預設：學生能夠掌握并熟練運用本單元的新詞和重要連詞；了解故事的結構和要素；學會
運用所學詞句及框架結構寫故事。
教學過程：
Step1. Preparation
1. Lead-in
Let students watch a video of a funny story. Then ask: How many stories are there in this video? What are they in English?

【設計意圖】以一則有趣的小故事串燒視頻引入，激活學生已有的背景知識，啟發學生對有關話題的思考。同時引入本節課的主線——《愚公移山》、《白雪公主》、《小紅帽》和《灰姑娘》四則故事并通過設置不同的任務學習這些故事。
2. Revision
⑴ Free talk — Yu Gong Moves a Mountain (Group work)
Ask students to retell the story “Yu Gong Moves a Mountain” according to the following questions: ① How does the story begin? Time, Place ② What happened next? Character, Event
【設計意圖】引導學生通過故事的基本要素和關鍵詞復述本單元所學的故事《愚公移山》，檢測學生對該故事的理解和的掌握情況。 ⑵ Challenge
① Chinese- English Translation
Ask students to match the Chinese with their English words.
② Sentence making
Make sentences with the pictures and the given key words.

【設計意圖】設計形式多樣的活動，通過英漢互譯復習本單元的重要短語；借助圖片用所給關鍵詞圍繞故事造句，旨在把詞語的鞏固和應用放在情境中，便于學生理解記憶。由詞到句，層層遞進，為后續的篇章學習和故事寫作做支撐和鋪墊。
Step2. Presentation
Enjoy the story “Snow White”.
⑴ Fill in the blanks with the words in the boxes.
⑵ Find out this basic information in the story: Time — Place — Character —
Cause — Event Process — Result — (Moral) —
【設計意圖】學生通過填空注意講故事需要用到的時態——動詞的過去式。之后，師生之間雙向交流，老師帶領學生分析并學習故事的框架結構和構成要素，幫助學生學會理解故事。同時可為學生后續復述故事提供支架，為寫作提供范文。
Step3. Practice
Retell the story “Snow White” (Pair work)
Ask students to retell the story by using the basic information and key words in pairs.
【設計意圖】及時操練，進行語言實踐，通過讓學生利用有關故事的基本要素和關鍵詞復述故事，強化訓練所學，鞏固并了解學生對本節課所學重點技能的掌握情況。

Step4. Production
1. Role-play
In unit 6, besides stories, we’ve also learnt a play—Hansel and Gretel. So there will be a competition in the school drama club. You are asked to act out two plays — Little Red Riding Hood (Group 1 & 2) and Cinderella (Group 3 &4).
【設計意圖】讓學生表演劇本《小紅帽》和《灰姑娘》，在模擬環境下運用語言，提高學生的口語和英語感知能力。
2. Writing (Group work)
Many plays are adapted for short stories. After watching the performances, ask students to adapt the two plays for stories according to the basic information in the chart. ⑴ Four students as a small group, discuss and write a story.
【設計意圖】由寫作技能的輸入到輸出，看完課本劇表演之后，要求學生利用故事的基本要素和關鍵詞以小組討論的方式起草作文，在內化所學語言知識和技能的基礎上完成寫作任務。同時鼓勵學生盡可能多的運用本單元的新詞、重點短語和句型，從而達到“學了就用”、“在用中學”的目的。 ⑵ Share your stories with us. Work in groups of four: S1— Operate the computer; S2— Read the story; S3— Correct the article;
S4—Give scores and tell the reasons.
【設計意圖】學生在教師的幫助下以小組討論的方式修改作文，展示時小組分工，訓練學生的動手能力、口語表達能力、批判性思維，對學生進行技法指導，啟發學生深入思考。

Step5. Summary
Lead students to summarize what we’ve learnt today. Then ask students what they can get from the stories.
【設計意圖】引導學生總結本節課的重點內容。進而貫徹情感目標，讓學生理解寓言故事和童話故事的意義，培養學生的英語學科核心素養，達到“潤物細無聲”的目的。
Step6. Homework
1. Remember the new words, key phrases and sentence structures in this unit. 2. Finish writing your story.
3. Try to find out the information related to “when, where, who, why, how, what” when reading stories.
