教學(xué)目標(biāo)
《英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》指出: 激發(fā)和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,使學(xué)生樹(shù)立自信心,養(yǎng)成良好的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣和形成有效的學(xué)習(xí)策略, 發(fā)展學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力和合作精神是中學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的基本任務(wù),在認(rèn)真分析教材的基礎(chǔ)上, 我又結(jié)合了學(xué)生的實(shí)際,將本課時(shí)的目標(biāo)確定如下:
Knowledge Objective:
1. Keep learning to tell a fairy tale, memorize new words,phrases and expressions.
2. Find out the text type and learn some language features of the play.
Ability Objective:
1. Improve students’ reading, comprehension and expression abilities.
2. To understand the characteristics of drama and role, then play the role.
Moral Objective:
Learn from fairy tales to become a brave and wise person. Let the students know they must have perseverance and kindness in life.
2學(xué)情分析
學(xué)生是學(xué)習(xí)的主體,對(duì)學(xué)生情況的分析是教學(xué)工作的關(guān)鍵環(huán)節(jié)。八年級(jí)學(xué)生的特點(diǎn): 八年級(jí)學(xué)生經(jīng)過(guò)一年多系統(tǒng)的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)和講學(xué)稿的使用,具備了一定的聽(tīng)說(shuō)基礎(chǔ),正逐步向讀、寫(xiě)過(guò)渡,通過(guò)一年多新課程理念的熏陶和實(shí)踐,有了自主學(xué)習(xí)、初步自主合作,分析歸納以及課堂展示的能力。學(xué)生們也正處于知識(shí)積累,前后知識(shí)銜接,培養(yǎng)良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣的關(guān)鍵時(shí)期。大部分學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)有一定興趣,但由于知識(shí)的安排由淺入深,有少數(shù)學(xué)生對(duì)這門(mén)學(xué)科產(chǎn)生了厭惡心理,消除學(xué)生厭學(xué)情緒,激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣至關(guān)重要。而本單元正是一個(gè)引發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的契機(jī),利用學(xué)生耳熟能詳?shù)墓适? 把學(xué)生帶入精彩的童話世界。 基于以上學(xué)情,我制定了以下學(xué)法:
1. 抓住用英語(yǔ)交際的機(jī)會(huì),深刻感知、積極體驗(yàn)、大膽實(shí)踐。
2. 積極參與,善于合作,培養(yǎng)團(tuán)隊(duì)合作意識(shí)。
3. 依據(jù):新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提出的感知---體驗(yàn)---實(shí)踐---參與---合作, 以及形成性評(píng)價(jià)。
3重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)
Teaching key points:
1. Key words: stepmother, wife, husband, whole, shine, bright, ground, lead, voice, brave
2. Phrases: as soon as, be lost, lead sb to, so that, be made of
3. Sentences: (1) Unless I do, we’ll be lost.
(2) I’m dropping white stones along the way.
(3) It’s leading us to that wonderful house made of bread, cake and candy.
Teaching difficult points:
1.Understanding the essentials of the story and expressions in the play.
2.Teaching Methods:
3.Listening, reading, discussion, retelling and role-play.

活動(dòng)1【導(dǎo)入】Ⅰ. Warm-up
1. Check the new words in the handouts.
2. Check the new phrases in the handouts.
3. Check the translation of sentences in the handouts.
(Each group chooses one or four students to be hosts, they lead other students check the answers of these three parts and help students understand the key points.)
活動(dòng)2【講授】Ⅱ. Lead-in
1. Greet the Ss as usual.
2.Show some pictures about fairy stories and ask:
(1)Do you know the name of these fairy tales?
(2)What is a fairy tale?
3. Play the video about the beginning of the story “Hansel and Gretel”
活動(dòng)3【活動(dòng)】Ⅲ. Talk and do exercise.
1. Fast reading.
(1)Before reading: Read the passage and find out the text type.
(2)While reading: Do 2c. Match each description below with the correct scenes.
2. Do listening exercise.
Listening to each scene of the story and answer the questions.
3. Role-play the scenes.
(1) Play the recording of the play, let students match the roles with the voice features.
(2)Let students read the scene, try to perform by imitating the pronunciation and intonation.
(3)Choose some students to act a wife, a husband, Hansel, Gretel, a bird, a reporter, an old witch.
(4) Students perform the play.
4. Enjoy the ending of this story and discuss the inner meaning of the story.

Let students know:
It reminds us that we could be calm to face the difficulties and overcome them with our wisdom and courage.
