第三課時Section B 1a-2c
一、教學目標: 1. 語言知識目標: 1) 能掌握頻率副詞:
在Section A和Section B的語法基礎上,能熟練運用usually, often, always等頻度副詞和兩種交通方式的表達。
2) 能用一般現在時第三人稱單數表達日常活動: Jane usually gets up at ... in the morning. At ... o’clock she has breakfast... 3) 閱讀短文,獲取相關信息的能力。
2. 情感態度價值觀目標:
在學習過程中,結合小組競賽、同伴互助等活動,培養互相幫助、共同進步的合作精神;采用靈活多樣的學習方式,激發學習英語的興趣;通過了解他人的校園生活培養關心他人的意識。 二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點:
1) 能熟練運用usually, often, always等頻度副詞和兩種交通方式的表達,能用一般現在時的第三人稱單數表達日;顒;
2) 培養在閱讀訓練中進行讀前猜測、讀中驗證的閱讀能力;
2. 教學難點: 結合話題,運用“談論日;顒”等進行口頭和筆頭的信息輸出。 三、教學過程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
1. Greet Students as usual.
2. Watch a short video about daily activities. Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Show some pictures about daily activities.
2. Students read and try to remember the expressions. Ⅲ. Presentation
1. Show a clock which can rotate. Ask students “what time is it?” Students answer, “It’s twenty past six. / It’s six twenty”
2. Teachers says: “I usually get up at 6 o’clock. What time do you get up?” Students answer with the sentence “I usually get up at ...” Ⅳ. Pre-reading
Show some pictures on the screen and ask students to guess the time and activities in Jane’s daily life.
Ⅴ. Fast reading --- Skimming
1.Help students divide the passage into three parts in 1a and summarize the main
contents of each paragraph.
2. Listen to the tape and completer the time table in 1a.
3. ask some students to give the answers by saying sentences “Jane usually gets up at 6:20 ...”
Ⅵ. Careful Reading --- Scanning
1. Read the passage again and answer the following questions: a. When do the classes begin?
b. How many classes does she have in the morning? c. Where does she have lunch
d. When does she play soccer with her classmates? e. How does she go home?
2. Help students find the answers by using the reading strategy --- finding key words. 3. Check the answers by presenting the sentences in the passage. Ⅶ. Group work
1.Work in groups of six. Ask students to discuss the pictures. 2. Ask students to retell the passage one by one. Ⅷ. Pair work
1. Students talk with their partner about their day with the help of 1a.
2. Ask some students to report it to the class with the following sentence structures
I usually get up at … in the morning.
At … o’clock, I have breakfast … … is my friend/classmate.
He/She usually gets up at … in the morning … Homework
1. Memorize the new words and phrases. 2. Review the present simple tense. 3. Talk about the daily activities.
