一、教學目標： 1. 語言知識目標： 1) 能掌握以下單詞：
cross, river, many, village, villager, between, between…and…, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, leave, dream, come true 2) 表達采用怎樣的交通方式去某地：
How do the students in the village go to school?. Does the boy like his school? Why? 3) 閱讀短文，獲取相關信息的能力。 2. 情感態度價值觀目標：
了解出行方式，以及不同的交通規則，教育學生注意交通安全。倡導自覺遵守交通法規及禮貌，構建和諧的人際關系。了解交通的發展，培養創新精神。 二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點：
1) 通過訓練，來提高學生們綜合運用所學知識的能力。
2) 通過讀、寫的訓練，來讓學生們能真正在實際活動中運用所學的知識。 2. 教學難點 閱讀訓練 三、教學過程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision 1. Greet Ss as usual. 2. Sing a song. Ⅱ. Presentation Time 1. Watch the video.
2. Guess what the video is about. 3. Fill in the blanks. Ⅲ. Game Time 1. Find the letters.
2. Carrot Squat Ⅳ. Reading Time 1. Pre—Reading Time 2. While—Reading 3. After—Reading
Read the passage again and find the answers to the questions below: 1. How do the students in the village go to school? 2. Why do they go to school like this? 3. Does the boy like his school? Why?
4. What is the villager's dream? Do you think their dream can come true? Ⅴ. Listening Time
Play the tape for the Ss to listen. Ⅵ. Talking Time
1. Let students tell What is the villagers' dream? Do you think their dream can come true? Why or why not?
2. Ss work with their partners. Try to say.
閱讀指導： 首先讀這四個問題，記住這四個問題。其次帶著問題去仔細讀短文，并在短文中尋找相關問題的回答依據。然后根據相關依據，寫出問題的答案。 Ss read the passage again and try to find the answers to the questions. Check the answers with the class. VII. Groupwork Time
