內容分析
模塊8以“體育生活”為話題，非常貼近學生的日常生活。第二單元的
文章介紹了劉翔的成長及成功的經歷，文章引用了一般過去時被動語態(tài)的結構和用法，要求學生掌握。我在展開聽說讀寫教學的同時，也注意激發(fā)學生學習體育精神和奧林匹克精神。
學情分析 初三年級的學生面臨升學壓力，沒有初一、初二的學生那么活潑，其思
想、心理、行為等具有一定的復雜性和特殊性。因此積極調動學生的課堂積極性顯得尤為重要。906班共有學生30人，英語學習基礎參差不齊，。所以我采取因材施教的方法，引導學生學會學習，培養(yǎng)他們學習英語的信心。
教學
目標
知 識 目 標 掌握一些主要的詞匯和句型be invited to, be encouraged to do, set up, be compared to do, so….. that…..., suffer from, stop from doing sth., take pride in了解一般過去時的被動語態(tài)結構：主語+was/were+動詞過去分詞（+by+動作執(zhí)行者）。 能 力 目 標 引導學生理解課文內容，掌握閱讀技巧，如掃讀、細讀、概括文章大
意，利用上下文信息猜詞等。并用所學知識練習寫作。
情 感 目 標
通過閱讀課文，并設計各種活動訓練學生運用英語進行聽、說、讀、寫各種活動的能力。通過了解劉翔的故事，培養(yǎng)學生不畏艱難和頑強拼搏精神。讓學生擁有永不放棄的精神。
教學重點 掌握本單元的重點詞匯和一般過去時被動語態(tài)的重點語法。
運用一些閱讀策略和一些相關的知識來描寫自己喜愛的體育明星。 教學難點 掌握如何在描寫自己喜愛的體育明星時恰當地運用一般過去時的被動語態(tài)。

1. Give some pictures and ask students what it means.
2. Do a word exercise and learn some information about Liu Xiang. 復習本課所學詞匯，用圖片復習詞匯更加形象生動，并配合練習鞏固單詞，同時了解劉翔。

1.Read the passage generally, then choose the sentence which best expresses the main idea.
2. Give students Tip1: read the title, beginning and ending to get the main idea.
使學生學會快速閱讀的方法，并練習主旨大意題型，注重文章的標題、開頭和結尾。

Step1: Ask students to read Para 1
and answer the question together.
Step2: Ask students to stand up
and read Para 2-3, and fill in the blanks. Ask one student to come to the blackboard to do the exercise, and then check answers.
Step3:Ask students to read Para 4-5 in groups, and tell the
sentences True or False. Step4: Ask students to match the
year with the notes to complete the time line; and then choose one students to retell the passage. And then give students Tip 2: read according to the order of “Time”.
