一、教學(xué)目標(biāo) 知識目標(biāo)： 
1）掌握11個單詞（including, medal, attend, abroad, doctor, degree, whatever, amazing, will, victory, simply）和2個詞組（once again, give up） 
2）理解和體會because, so, so that引導(dǎo)的狀語從句。 技能目標(biāo)： 
1）聽：通過聽力，獲取與話題heroes有關(guān)的信息。 
    2）說：能夠圍繞heroes的話題進(jìn)行交流，進(jìn)行情景對話。 
3）讀：正確朗讀對話，在朗讀中體會句子的語意、學(xué)會正確的斷句等。 
情感態(tài)度與價值觀目標(biāo)： 
增進(jìn)學(xué)生對各個領(lǐng)域英雄人物的了解，學(xué)習(xí)這些模范人物身上所散發(fā)出的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。提高對英語的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，實現(xiàn)語言結(jié)構(gòu)與運用能力的全面轉(zhuǎn)型。參加各種英語活動，克服困難，在新環(huán)境中進(jìn)一步樹立準(zhǔn)確的語言學(xué)習(xí)觀. 
 二、教學(xué)重點和難點 
重點：通過訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽、說、讀、寫能力，掌握狀語從句。 難點：正確運用because, so和so that引導(dǎo)狀語從句。  
三、教學(xué)過程 
Step 1 Warm up 
1. Show a video about a speech and talk about it. 2. Show some heroes’ pictures. Step 2 Present (Activity 1)

Step 3 Listen (Activity 2)
