一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)： 
1.背熟并使用重點短語，如get ready for Spring Festival;clean the house;put things away;sweep the floor;cook the meal;make lanterns;learn a dragon dance等。 2.運用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時和一般現(xiàn)在時口頭表述正在發(fā)生和經(jīng)常發(fā)生的動作。 3.能讀懂有關(guān)圣誕節(jié)的短文 
4.能夠給筆友寫一封介紹中國春節(jié)的信。 
二、教材分析和學(xué)情分析：本模塊以介紹中國的春節(jié)為主，unit1以“正為春節(jié)作準(zhǔn)備”展開話題，unit2以如何過春節(jié)展開話題，因此Unit3重點引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過使用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時和一般現(xiàn)在時，對春節(jié)這個話題展開一系列聽、說、讀、寫方面的活動，進(jìn)一步鞏固學(xué)生對現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時的掌握，強化他們對語言的交際運用能力。 學(xué)生對春節(jié)這個話題非常熟悉，雖然部分學(xué)生積極性較高，樂于參與，敢于表達(dá)，但綜合運用語言能力有待提高。 三、重難點 
1.區(qū)分現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時和一般現(xiàn)在時用法。 
2.能夠給筆友寫一封介紹中國春節(jié)的信。 四、教學(xué)過程 Step1 lead in  
Enjoy some pictures about spring festival and talk about spring festival. T: Do you like spring festival? Why? 
S1: Yes, I do. Because I can wear new clothes. 
S2: Yes, I like it very much. Because I can get hongbao. S3: Yes, I like spring festival because i like delicious food. 
S4: No, i really don’t like it, because my parents always take my lucky money. ...... 
Step2 Learn to use language--remember more 
復(fù)習(xí)unit1和unit2中出現(xiàn)的重點短語:get ready for Spring Festival;clean the house;put things away;sweep the floor;cook the meal;make lanterns;learn a dragon dance;celebrate Spring Festival;have a traditional family dinner;wear new sweaters and coats;eat dumplings;watch a special programme on TV;visit friends and relatives;get lucky money  
Step3 Learn to use language--practice more 
兩人一組用Step2復(fù)習(xí)過的短語來描述圖片，使用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時和一般現(xiàn)在時 -Look!What is Chen Tianyi doing? -He is putting things away .

教師用自己的筆友Jim對中國的春節(jié)感興趣的話題引入對話練習(xí)，學(xué)生兩人一組表演對話。 
Jim: Hi, ... This is Jim speaking. What are you doing now? Student: Hello, Jim. We are getting ready for Spring Festival.               At the moment, I am ... Jim: What's your mother doing? Student: She is... Jim: Is your father...? 
Student: No, he isn't. He is... 
Jim: What are your grandparents doing? Student: They are...    
 Jim: What do you usually do at Spring Festival? 
Student: We usually have a traditional family dinner and...

學(xué)生讀教師的筆友Jim的來信，并回答教師提問，該環(huán)節(jié)同時介紹了around the world 內(nèi)容。也為下一環(huán)節(jié)學(xué)生寫回信進(jìn)行鋪墊，提供了寫作框架。 Dear Nancy, 
Here in America Christmas Day is coming.And we are getting ready for it now. My mother is buying  turkey and a lot of other delicious food. My father and I are decorating the Christmas tree. My sister Lucy is putting many presents  under the tree. 
Christmas is the most important festival in most Western countries.Children  usually like Christmas a lot because of Father Christmas, Santa Claus. We  always say Merry Christmas to family and friends. People sing Christmas  songs and open their presents on Christmas Day.
