難點 對于基礎薄弱的學生在短時間內復述文章的可能稍有難度。
學情分析
生日實物這個話題的文章很接近生活，學生也不陌生，因此興趣會很濃。但在復述課文部分有些孩子可能有困難。
教 學 過 程
Step One: Greeting.
Step Two: Lead-in by asking questions about the given picture.
Step Three: Pre-reading: Discuss the following questions.
1. What birthday food do you know?
2. What do you do or eat on your birthday?
Step Four:Listening:
Listen and answer the questions:
1.How can a person make his or her birthday wish come true? 2. What do people in the UK sometimes put in a birthday cake? 3. Why do people never cut up birthday noodles in China? 4. Why do people eat special foods on their birthday?
Step Five: While reading: 1． True/False questions.

Ask the students to finish the mind-map in groups and check the answers.

備注：由于本節課是閱讀課型，為充分利用課堂時間，思維導圖未當場板書，而是在ppt中呈現。
課 后 反 思
本節課大部分學生都能很好的完成閱讀題，掌握文章所傳達的內容。根據思維導圖進行復述這個環節對學生整體要求的標準比較高，所以有些學生還是不敢于動嘴說，在以后的課堂中，應多鼓勵這部分學生。
