教學目標
1. 知識與能力
(1)能夠掌握本課時的重點新詞匯:cross, river, many, village, between…and, bridge, boat, ropeway, afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, true, come true
(2) 能夠正確并較好地掌握閱讀策略
2. 過程與方法
通過各種閱讀活動和討論,學會用英語介紹本篇閱讀材料,描述在中國貧困山區孩子的上學的方式。訓練學生們的閱讀理解能力,培養學生的小組合作學習,享受閱讀帶來的樂趣。
3. 情感與態度
了解貧困地區學生的上學方式和他們目前的學習生活現狀,喚起孩子們的愛心,讓他們談論如何去幫助貧困孩子;并讓學生認識到貧困孩子的堅強及永不放棄的精神,呼吁學生在平時的學習生活中學習他們的那種頑強及永不放棄的精神。
2學情分析
1.七年級的學生有了一定的英語語言表達能力,能夠讀懂較短的文章。但是,老師要關注教學方法,在讀懂課文的同時,還要注重培養閱讀方法和技巧,力爭使所有的學生養成良好的閱讀習慣。
2. 本課時的閱讀話題和學生的學習生活息息相關,容易走進學生的生活。這樣,老師采用方法來調動學生的學習興趣,并讓課堂的內容有目標地向生活轉化。
3重點難點
1. 教學重點
鞏固how引導的特殊疑問句及其回答,并根據閱讀語篇內容抓住文章的信息。
2. 教學難點
讓學生在文章閱讀中掌握重點詞匯,讀懂課文的文本信息。我將學生分成幾個小組,引導他們圍繞閱讀任務討論交流,培養學生們的交際能力,發展他們的思維能力。

4.1第一學時
4.1.1學時難點
1. 整篇文章的閱讀教學,通過skimming 及scanning 抓文本信息
2.兩個小組活動,一是討論學生在乘索道上學時還存在哪些困難,二是小組角色扮演,將課文扮演成采訪的活動。
4.1.2教學活動
活動1【導入】How do you get to school
1. Have a free talk with the students, ask them "How do you get to school every day? How long does it take to get to school?"
2. Play a short video about different ways to get to school.
活動2【講授】Pre-reading
1. 引入本課時的新單詞:village, river, between …and…, cross, ropeway
2. 通過新單詞引入到本節課的閱讀話題,“Crossing the river to school.”
活動3【講授】While-reading
① Skimming 掃讀整篇文章,回答下列問題
