2學情分析
本單元的主題是運用when和what time引導的特殊疑問句詢問時間、運用數詞表達不同的時間,通過對目標語言的學習使學生學會更合理地安排自己的學習和課活動時間。對于when引導的特殊疑問句用來詢問時間我們已經在第八單元學過,師要引導學生比較這兩種特殊疑問句用來詢問時間時的異同,從而正確使用它們;在表達不同時間段時要運用數詞,這也是已經學過的內容,在教學時要及時地進復習和回顧,學生才能對新的目標語言運用得心應手。

活動1【講授】Teaching procedures
Step One: Greeting
1. Greet the students warmly..
2. Enjoy a song about the clock.
Step Two: Talk about time
1. T: What time is it? S: It’s eight o’clock.
(Ask several students about time.)
2. Ask one student to be a clock and show us the time.
Step Three: Presentation
1. -What do you usually do at 6:30? S: I usually…at…
-What do I usually do at 6:30? Listen and guess.
- Brush the teeth
2. Guess my morning
Listen and guess what I usually do in the morning.
(get up, go to work, get dressed, brush the teeth, take a shower).
3. Read the phrases loudly and remember them.
Step Four: Pairwork
A: What time do you usually…?
B: I usually… at….
Step Five: Groupwork
A: What time does he/she usually …?
B: He/She usually –(s/es) up at….
Step Six: Oral English
1. I talk about my morning and then I ask students to talk about their own morning.
I get up at 6:30. I brush my teeth at 6:35. I take a shower at 6:40.
I eat breakfast at 7:00. I get dressed at 7:20. I go to work at 7:30.
2. Ask student to talk about Mrs Wang’s morning.
Mrs Wang gets up at 6:30. She brushes the teeth at 6:35. She takes a shower at 6:40.She eats breakfast at 7:00. She gets dressed at 7:20. She goes to work at 7:30.
Step Seven: Listening practice
1. Listen and match the times with the actions. Draw lines from the clocks to the pictures. (1b)
2. Listen to the conversation. Complete the sentences.(2a)
3. Listen again. Complete this shower schedule for Jim’s family.(2b)
Step Eight: Conversation
1 Read the conversation in 2d loudly and quickly, then fill in the blanks.
2. Role-play
Ask two students to imitate 2d to have an interview. Then show us it.
Step Nine: Homework
1. Make a survey with the drill “What time does your father / mother get up / take a shower…?
2. Design(設計)your ideal(理想的)day!
