教師通過游戲“Yes/No”與學(xué)生互動(dòng),激活課堂。 T:I’ll show you some pictures.If you think it’s right,you can say “Yes”.If you think it’s wrong,you can say “No”. (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:呈現(xiàn)Zoom媽媽的連衣裙,出示班上學(xué)生的頭像讓他們判斷男生是否能穿連衣裙,打造了輕松活潑的課堂氣氛。最后呈現(xiàn)Zoom的頭像,讓學(xué)生判斷Zoom是否適合穿連衣裙,為導(dǎo)入新課做鋪墊。) 2. 解讀封面

(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:本環(huán)節(jié)將圖片順序打亂,圖2、3除外。學(xué)生認(rèn)真觀察圖片,根據(jù)教師的引導(dǎo),逐漸完成故事拼圖,推理故事情節(jié)。不僅激活學(xué)生語言,挖掘語言儲(chǔ)備,還突破了本課的重點(diǎn),使學(xué)生理解并學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用了本課的生詞“beautiful”。) Step2 While-reading
Read and answer:Who is beautiful? (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用問題“Who is beautiful?”來貫穿整個(gè)故事,文中出現(xiàn)了三次“beautiful”,分別表達(dá)了三層含義。1.媽媽長(zhǎng)得很漂亮;2.因?yàn)閆oom的媽媽是演員,所以媽媽的裙子很漂亮;3.媽媽愛Zoom,所以媽媽認(rèn)為穿裙子的Zoom很漂亮。通過三層不同含義,將故事分為三個(gè)部分。) 1.Page1、2

(1) T:Zoom’s mum is beautiful! How do you know that? (2) 創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,學(xué)生分角色朗讀。
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:beautiful的第一層含義是媽媽長(zhǎng)得很漂亮,通過第一部分的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能理解第一層含義,并有感情地進(jìn)行分角色朗讀表演。) 2.Page3—5
Beautiful—The dress is beautiful! (1) 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生描述自己的媽媽。
T:My mum is tall,and yours?My mum has big eyes,and yours? My mum has a white dress,and yours?My mum is a teacher,and yours? (2) 理解并正確朗讀actress。
T:What about Zoom’s mum?Is she a teacher? S6:No.She’s an actress. T: Do you know “actress”? a.出示女演員的照片。

(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:beautiful的第二層含義是因?yàn)閆oom的媽媽是演員,所以媽媽的裙子很漂亮。學(xué)生并不能準(zhǔn)確地找到答案,因此通過一系列的問題,幫助學(xué)生在閱讀過程中整合重要信息,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解并感受beautiful的第二層含義。在突破本課重點(diǎn)的過程中,使學(xué)生理解并學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用了本課的生詞“actress”。最后再有感情地進(jìn)行分角色朗讀表演。) 3.Page7

Q:Does Zoom’s mum think Zoom is beautiful?Why? She loves Zoom! 指名朗讀。
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:情感體驗(yàn)。beautiful的第三層含義是媽媽愛Zoom,所以媽媽認(rèn)為穿裙子的Zoom很漂亮。學(xué)生的直觀感受是Zoom不漂亮,為什么Zoom的媽媽認(rèn)為Zoom很漂亮?在教學(xué)的過程中引導(dǎo)學(xué)生體會(huì),因?yàn)閆oom的媽媽愛Zoom,所以Zoom在他媽媽的心中是最漂亮的。) 4. Read the story again.
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生讀懂整個(gè)故事后,自主進(jìn)行閱讀,使學(xué)生的情感能在閱讀中表達(dá)出來。)
