2.教材分析:
隨著信息技術的發展,人們觀看電影的渠道很多,互聯網時代英語電影在傳播英語國家的人文歷史、風俗習慣、思維方式和價值取向、包括英語語言文化等方面的作用功不可沒,很多英語學習者也想通過看英文影視作品來提高英語。但英語電影也有良莠之分和適不適合英語學習的差別。Kung Fu Panda故事情節簡單有趣、人物少、對話簡單、語音清晰、畫面內容豐富,有利于學生通過電影的情節猜出語言的含義,避免在教學中因聽不懂、看不懂而導致學習疲勞。通過觀看其片段節選,可以體味原汁原味英語,在觀影的過程中設置問題引導學生思考討論,增強學生的英語聽說能力。同時汲取更多的英語文化背景知識,激發或提高學生學習英語的興趣。
3.學情分析:
通過前期大量《典范英語》等閱讀討論和跟讀模仿的積累,九年級學生英語詞匯量較大,具備一定的英語素養和聽說能力。班級中等以上水平學生處理各項聽說任務的難度不大。學生對英語學習興趣很高,英文電影尤其對學生們具有吸引力。但對想靠看英文電影提高英語水平的學生來說,受年齡閱歷和周圍環境輿論影響,分辨能力有限,不

本節課重在通過觀看英語電影,可以進行有效的英語聽說讀寫活動,尤其是聽說活動,提高英語水平。在課程中,通過電影賞析和經典臺詞片段配音表演,增強學生的英語聽說能力。采用讓學生欣賞、體驗、感悟、實踐、參與、合作與交流的學習方式,達到提高學生綜合語言運用能力的目的。

Part 1: Before class
1. Watch the movie before class.
2. Read this brief introduction of the movie
It‟s the story about a big fat panda, named Po, who is the biggest fan of Kung Fu, which
doesn‟t exactly come in handy(派上用場) while working every day in his family‟s noodle shop. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prediction, Po‟s dreams come true when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five -- Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey -- under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu.
But before they know it, the evil snow leopard Tai Lung, with a desire for revenge and the secret power of the Dragon Scroll, is breaking out of prison and heading for the Peace Valley, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality? Po puts his heart - and his belly - into the task, and the unlikely hero finally finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.

Clip 3
Po is declared the new kung fu hero-Dragon Warrior. Shifu and the Furious Five don‟t believe this clown can be taught anything. Yet Oogway believes there is no accident. The roly-poly panda is the one chosen to battle the evil master Tailung, who'll be there any moment now.
[Scene: Po is eating under the Peach Tree, and he meets Master Oogway, also wins encouragement from him.]
-Oogway: I understand. You eat when you are upset. -Po: Upset? I'm not upset.
What makes you think I'm upset. -Oogway: So why are you so upset?
-Po: I probably sucked more today than anyone in the history of kung fu. In the history of China. In the history of sucking! 我可能是功夫史上最爛的,中國史上最爛的,爛人史上也是最爛的!
-Oogway: Probably. 可能吧。 -Po: And the Five!
Man, you should've seen them! They totally hate me. -Oogway: Totally.
-Po: How is Shifu ever going to turn me into the Dragon Warrior? I mean, I'm not like the Five.
