1.1.1教材、學情分析
The reading material tells us the writer Lao She, the play Teahouse and Lao She Teahouse. Students are familiar with this topic because they
have learnt the play in Chinese class before. They are expected to write down something about their favourite plays or films.
1.1.2教學目標
1.To lead students to be able to understand the main idea of a passage with the help of the paragraph headings.
2.To guide students to choose the one they like better between Empty-City Scheme and  Little Soldier Chang Ka-tse .Write a passage according
   tothe information that was given in the table.
知識與能力：
1. To help students to understand the text involving new words show, common, twentieth, describe, college, if, magic.
2. To cultivate students’reading abilities about searching for the main idea in each paragraph.
3. To lead students to be able to understand the sequence of events.
4. To lead students to learn to write a passage about Empty-City Scheme and Little Soldier Chang Ka-tse according to the information that was
    given in the table.
過程與方法：
1. To guide students to find the main idea from the first or last sentence.
2. To lead students to write a passage about Empty-City Scheme and Little Soldier Chang Ka-tse by watching the amazing parts of them.
情感、態(tài)度與價值觀：
1. To help students cooperate in group work.
2.To cultivate students’love of traditional Chinese culture, enhance the sense of national pride.

活動1【導入】Warming up and lead in
1. Ask Ss to watch a video and talk about what's it about.
2. Ask Ss to outline the parts that they want to introduce to others about Lao She Teahouse
   according to the pictures.
3. Ask Ss to learn some background knowledge about Lao She, Teahouse and Lao She
    Teahouse.
活動2【講授】Reading
1. Ask Ss to read the first or last sentence of the paragraph to find out the main idea.
2. Ask Ss to read each paragraph, then do the activities on Page 37 and answer the question.
3. Ask Ss to complete the passage with the words in the box.
活動3【練習】Writing
1. Show Ss the videos about the amazing parts of Empty-City Scheme and Little Soldier
    ChangKa-tse in order to activate their thoughts and enrich the information.
2. Ask Ss to answer the questions according to the videos.
3. Ask Ss to choose the one they like better between the two videos and follow the
   structures  given to them to have a discussion, then write a passage about it.
4. Ask Ss to do presentations and focus on the other groups’work.
