Teaching Design
Part one Analysis of the Teaching material
1. This part is from Junior English Book Grade 8 which was published by Shanghai Education Publishing House. This part is about grammar, which focuses on the topic of adverbial clause of condition.
2. This part is about grammar. In this class, student should master the usage of if, unless and as long as.
3. Such a topic is closely related to their daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and improve their oral English.
Part two Analysis of the Students
1. In terms of the eighth graders, they have learned English for some years. They understand the simple words and sentences.
2. They are enthusiastic and energetic in language class. They are willing and active to show themselves in class. They are curious about everything. It is important for the teacher to give them chances to participate in class.
3. They still rely on teachers’ guide, especially in some task-based activities, so during the activities, teacher should give them some leading questions.

1. In this lesson, my teaching methods include communicative teaching method, audio-visual teaching method and task-based teaching method.
