2學情分析
由于本節課為一節閱讀與寫作課。重在培養學生英語的綜合運用能力,所以從設計上看,我采取的是分層次教學法,目的是讓不同層次的學生在課堂上都有所收獲,從而樹立他們學習英語的自信心。

4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1新設計
Step 1 Lead in (about 3 minutes)
T: Have you ever been to a foreign country?
S1: Yes, I have. I have been to Singapore.
T: When did you go there?
S1: I went there last year.
T: Can you tell me something about Singapore?
S1: Yes. Singapore is our neighbor. It's in Southeast Asia and It's an island. The streets there are very clean. It's said that it's called “Garden City”.
T: Great!Do you want to learn more about the beautiful country ---Singapore? Today we're going to learn a passage about Singapore.
Show some pictures about Singapore and have them discuss in groups after skimming.
Step2 Reading(about 25 minutes)
Play the tape and ask the students to imitate the tape to read the passage.
Let them scan the passage and find the key word of each paragraph:
Para1: language para2: food
Para3: zoo para4: temperature
Have them skim the passage and finish 2b and 2e.
Here are their answers:
S1: Singapore is a wonderful and safe place to take a holiday;
S2: You can speak Putonghua there;
S3: It's also a good place to practice your English;
S4: You will find a lot of food from China.
S5: Singapore is also an excellent place to try new food.
S6: Singapore has a Night Safari.
S7: The temperature is almost the same all year round.
S8: It's not too far from China.
Ask them to read the passage carefully and finish 2c and 2d, then check their answers.
Have them retell the passage according to the clues without books.

Ask the students to imitate the passage to advertise our hometown----Baishui. Before that, help them to finish the information in 3a. Then let them discuss in groups. Here is an oral narrative from one of my students:
Baishui is 986.6 square kilometers . It's in the northeast of Shaanxi.The population is about 300,000. There are four seasons---spring, summer, autumn and winter. The coldest months are January and February, and the warmest months are June and July. It's said that Cangjie---a man with four eyes made Chinese characters . If you want to learn more about the history of Chinese characters, you can go to Cangjie Temple . There you can enjoy many ancient Chinese characters . They are very creative . Also there is some natural scenery , such as Lingao Lake, Fangshan Forest Park and so on.
One great thing about Baishui is that its apples are very delicious. Welcome to my hometown---Baishui , the people here will be friendly to you!
Step3 Exercise(about 7 minutes)

Step4 Summary (about 2 minutes)
T: In this class , we have learned some useful words and expressions . We have also learned a new way to understand a passage and how to advertise your hometown . As we know , Singapore is one of the cleanest countries in the world . As a Chinese , it's our duty to protect our environment . We should love our country and our hometown .
Step5 Homework (about 1 minute)

課后反思:
本節課從設計的環節看,是一節新穎而完整的課。多媒體的使用使得課堂容量增大,真正達到了訓練學生閱讀與寫作能力的目的。同時,我能做到將閱讀與寫作緊密結合起來,而且在情感態度上也有一定的滲透,是一很節成功的課。唯一美中不足的是,在討論家鄉這一環節,有一部分學生不善于口頭表達,尤其在九班,十班好多了,大部分能積極參與課堂討論。當然,這還需在今后的教學中進行合理的引導。
4.1.2教學活動
活動1【活動】Self Check
第一題采取小組討論的形式,讓八個小組將各組最好的結果展示出來和,和其他學生進行分享;
第二題采取競賽的形式完成該對話,并兩人一組模仿對話進行演練;
第三題采取小組調查的形式完成表格,并讓每組派一名組員對改組的調查結果做一個簡單地匯報。
