教學目標

2學情分析
九年級學生對這一類的神話傳說故事比較熟悉,在閱讀過程中能較好地根據自己的背景知識進行詞義猜測、上下文語意揣摩等,從而掃清語言障礙,獲得閱讀的自信。學生比較樂意參與對語篇的解讀,并有超越語篇來詮釋文本內涵的語言基礎和心理準備。
3重點難點
(1)To know about the story about Chang’e.

4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Step1: Pre-reading
1. Greetings
2. Lead-in
T:拿出一個圓形的盒子,引導說When I see the round box, I can think of a birthdaycake. And I have full feelings.
并提問學生:What can you think of when you see the circle? 學生的回答多種多樣,男生多數回答如basketball、volleyball等球類,女生的回答通常是apple pie, the sun等,也有部分學生想到mooncakes。教師肯定學生的回答,并利用學生答語中已經提到月亮的契機說道:While these things come and go, only the moon stays in the sky forever giving us full feelings
并在幻燈片上呈現圓月的圖景,同時與學生展開以下對話,自然地將話題聚焦到了中秋節:
T: What moon is it?
Ss: Full moon.
T: Well, when we enjoy the full moon, we can have full feelings. And when we see the full moon, what festival can we think of?
Ss: The Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. Free talk
此時,教師自然地承接話題:Do you know the origin of Middle-Autumn Festivel?
教師對學生說:Today, there is a touching story about the festival. Come on, guys! Let's enjoy it!
活動2【講授】 Step 2: While-reading

教師讓學生快速閱讀文章并圈出主要的人物角色。

活動3【活動】Step 3: Post-reading
1.Role-play a conversation according to the story
2.Continue writing
角色扮演后,教師問:Just now, we enjoyed your performance. But let's remember the ending of the story. Is it happy or sad? 學生回答:Sad! 此時教師適時引發學生思考并讓學生在小組內合作續寫故事:I don't think the story has finished. Can you continue the story and give it an ending? Then you will have a full story! 續寫的內容被設置了一個有意思的場景,即多年后的今天,給嫦娥奔月的故事編寫一個與眾不同的結尾。
3. Experience the beauty of literature
續寫之后,學生對該故事有了不同層次的認知,教師引導學生回到實際生活中,模仿文本標題創作短語,并讓每位學生有機會說出自己的full feelings.
活動4【作業】 Step 4: Homework
1. Write your feelings about the Mid-Autumn Festival and share it on your blog or WeChat (微信)!
2. Do something for your parents with your full feelings! Maybe you can read an English poem to your parents with your full feelings ...
