一、學情分析
8年級的學生已經掌握了基本的英語學習素質,也有了一些語言素材積淀,他們正值青春期,對于音樂的熱愛達到了一個高峰,尤其是我們班的學生,有幾個英文歌曲的積極分子,他們有廣大的粉絲團隊,對其他同學能夠起引領作用。并且上周我們去了研學旅行,在途中,同學們也大聲地歌唱,學唱了傳統的華陰老腔,恰巧為我這次上課提供了良好的氣氛。
二、教材分析
本節課是人教版新目標英語8年級下冊第8單元,本單元主要以現在完成時為主要學習的語法內容,也通過各種時態對一件事情進行描述(一般現在時、過去時、現在完成時、將來時)。涉及的話題是有關西方的文學作品和西方的流行樂隊,旨在培養學生高尚的思想情操,用他們感興趣的流行音樂為引子,讓每個學生都有話說,以達到語言的實用性的體驗。也為學生展示了一種新的學習英語的思路-通過英文歌曲學習。
三、教學目標
知識與能力
1、語言目標:掌握詞匯,聽懂、掌握談論音樂的語言材料。
2、技能目標:能聽懂聽力材料,掌握聽的技巧;能對自己感興趣的話題進行討論。
方法與途徑 教師示范、小組對話、兩兩練習、師生練習、伙伴互助 情感與評價 通過介紹音樂的類型,尤其是西方流行樂隊,開展活動,
培養學生興趣,陶冶高尚的思想情操。教會學生表達自己的喜好,并且說明理由,對一個人或事做出評價。
現代教學手段
運用
利用PPT給學生呈現大量的圖片信息,給學生一個直觀的
影像,并在里面插入大量的音頻文件,通過播放音樂,讓學生清楚的學會各種不同的音樂類型。穿著清純靚麗的服飾,耳朵上帶上Walkman,導入學習內容。

Step 2 New words
Learn the new words: 9 kinds of music pop music, rock music, country music, classical
music, folk music, light music, jazz, rap, Huayin laoqiang
Let students close their eyes and enjoy the different kinds of music. Then we will learn how to express
the different kinds of music. Meanwhile I will ask students some questions.
What kind of music is it? What is the name of the song?
Who sings it? And do you enjoy it? How does it make you feel?

Step 3 Presentation
What kind of music do you like? I like pop music because it is exciting. I feel excited when I listen to it. I prefer country music because it is very natural. I feel relaxed when I listen to it. I’m fond of rock music because it is really loud and full of energy. I’m crazy about pop music because it is exciting. I feel excited when I listen to it. Then the teacher asks 2 students to talk about their favorite singer and music. We will learn something about the band. Because later there are some difficult sentences for them.
Step 4 Listening Dave and Alex are talking about their favorite band, ask them to listen and fill in the chart. Take notes.

Ask students to talk about the band -The Toms. They should ask and answer questions according to the chart.
Step 6 Group work
Encourage students to talk about his or her favorite singers or band in the groups of three.
Ask some students to act their reports. And we will check their homework.
Step 7 Show time
Our school will hold the English Talent Show at the end of this month. Xi wants to make a band and ask some students to join her.
Who’s your favorite singer? How old is she/ he? Where is she / he from?
What kind of music does he/ she play? When did he/ she start to sing? What’s your favorite song of him/ her?
How do you feel when you listen to the song? Why do you like him/ her?
