Unit 4 Why don’t you talk to your parents？ Grammar Focus 一．教學目標
1. 知識技能目標
要求學生掌握情態動詞should的用法，當遇到問題和麻煩時，學會用“What should I/he/she do?”這個句型提問，并用“you/he/she should do…”來給出建議和意見。 2. 情感目標
通過用《朗讀者》的方式作為這堂課的主線，在這節課中老師不單單是教師，更重要的是一名朗讀者，給學生朗讀一本書，通過書中的故事，談論學生感興趣的話題，練習如何運用所學的句型練習語法知識點。 二．學情分析
八年級的學生有一定的英語基礎，并對新鮮事物有著好奇之心，對當下流行的節目《朗讀者》也比較熟悉，教師可以根據自己的教學內容安排，學生可以主動積極的發言，并且有一定的想象力和創造力，把一節本來枯燥的語法課上的活潑并且引人入勝。 三．教學重、難點
1. Teaching important points (教學重點)
當遇到麻煩時，用含有“What should … do…?”這個句型提問，并能用情態動詞“should”和“Why don’t … do…”來回答。 2. Teaching difficult points (教學難點)
能夠綜合運用所學知識來對情況進行分析，提建議，并完滿解決問題，注意情態
動詞的用法。 四．教學過程
活動1 【導入】運用教師變換角色導入，激發學生興趣
Tell students “Today I’m not a teacher, I’m a reader. I want to read a book for you. In my book , there are some stories…” Students must be interested in the stories that the teacher will read.
【設計亮點】通過PPT做出翻書的動畫形式，教師轉換成讀者的角色，準備給學生讀自己書中的故事。
活動2 【故事一】 A father and a son
Showing the VCR of<Readers>, read the story about the writer Mai Jia and his son, then ask students “What’s the matter with the father? What should he do?” Ask students to give some advice as much as possible.
【設計亮點】央視一套《朗讀者》節目中作家麥家講述他和他兒子之間的故事感人肺腑，通過這段視頻教學，給學生最直接呈現父親和兒子之間的麻煩，讓學生給這位父親提建議，怎么樣解決他們之間的麻煩，成為最有效的教學方法。
活動3 【故事二】 A husband and a wife
Showing a picture about a husband and a wife, and ask students “ Can you imagine what’s the matter with them？”And then Act out student’s dialogue, using “should” to give them some good suggestions.
【設計亮點】通過表演情景對話，讓學生可以直觀的參與討論，并通過生動的表演，
將夫妻之間的麻煩順理成章的解決，將課堂推向高潮。
活動4【故事三】 A friend and his friends
Showing two pieces of videos, ask students“What happened to them?”In the videos, their friends give them some good advice, but now use “What’s your advice?/What should they do?” to give some more advice.
【設計亮點】視頻展示教學法是呈現知識最簡單有效的方法之一，學生通過視頻，能夠更直觀的理解及運用句型。
活動5 【辯論】 Should students go to after-school classes?
Dividing students into two groups to have a debate competition, one is “students should go to after-school classes.” The other is “students shouldn’t go to after-school classes.” Five minutes to debate.
【設計亮點】運用辯論的形式讓學生將枯燥的語法課呈現出激勵活潑的效果，男女生為自己一方絞盡腦汁，極力爭辯，效果極佳。
活動6 【游戲】 Lucky 3,2,1!
The winners from the debate can play this game, pick four of the winners to play. Here are four numbers, one of them is a lucky number. Others are some exercises about giving some advice. Let’s see who is lucky!
【設計亮點】幸運砸蛋游戲可以提高學生學習的興趣，大家積極踴躍，都想中獎成為最幸運的。
活動7 【作業】課后作業，夯實基礎。
With the help of you, we solve a lot of trouble today. But I have some trouble with my
headmaster. Can you give some good advice？
【設計亮點】 課堂上學生將出現的問題逐一解決，可老師和校長之間有些矛盾，希望
學生幫忙出出點子解決，將課堂所學再進一步鞏固。 五．板書設計

1.照片視頻的引入，激發了學生的興趣，使學生更直觀的找出相關形容詞。
2.思維導圖的呈現，清晰明了，便于學生說出含有both，as...as...和比較級的句子，為下文寫作做鋪墊。
3.游戲環節的導入，充分調動了學生的積極性，使學生在寫作的過程中思維更加活躍。 七.教學反思
一節課下來，大部分學生都能積極參與到課堂教學中來，并積極的參加游戲活動，課堂氣氛比較活躍，調動了大部分學生的積極性。但是很明顯，語言表達能力強的學生參與的機會相對較多，上臺展示的機會的也多；而有一些學生卻習慣于當聽眾，被動的接受別人的觀
念，很少發表自己的意見。因此作為教師，在新課標的教材運用上，要注意合理整合資源，環環相扣，層層鋪墊，真正的調動學生的積極性，激發學生的寫作興趣。
