2. retell the whole process of writing and printing a news report after reading . 
3. finish a scoop by themselves. 
4. understand the difficult process of a news report. Keys重點 
1. finish the chart of the process of writing and printing a scoop after reading . 
2. write a scoop with the help of two examples. Difficult points難點 write a scoop  
Teaching process 教學(xué)過程 
Step 1: warm up（了解報紙的相關(guān)知識） 1.Teacher shows some newspaper  
  Students tell some famous newspaper 
2.T shows a piece of newspaper, “How do you find sth you are interested in?” 
  Teacher leads students to know the layout of newspaper(板書）  
Photograph 
               Headline   (the main headline                           The smaller heading) Frontpage 
               Lead 
3.students read a piece of news with those layout knowledge and answer the main idea of the news. 
 (Shenzhou XI manned spacecraft was launched) 
  4.Teacher leads students to think what a journalist should do to prepare that news.（板書）

   Step 2: Pre-reading檢測預(yù)習(xí)情況    1. Check homework

C. Put the writing and printing process in right order(p30)  
Step3: Careful reading閱讀問題 
1. Students read and find answers for the following questions: 
 
             
             
                    
                            A. What is a scoop? 
B. What was Zhou Yang’ first task? 
C. What did the chief editor think of his story? 
D. How many people read his article before it was ready to be processed into the film negative? Who were they? 
   2. Students discuss in groups.    3. Check together 
Step 4: Post reading 自創(chuàng)獨家新聞 
1. T“ We learned how Zhou Yang write his scoop.Do you want to write your scoop?” 
2.students work in groups to create scoops. 3.each group shares. 
Step 5: Homework 課后作業(yè) 
      Polish and write your own scoop. Step 6: Conclusion 結(jié)語 
“from the reading, for Zhou Yang,to get a scoop is difficult or easy? Behind the article see, it involves a long process. That’s the same with our everyday life and learning. We need to be prepared ahead of big events” 
Reflection反思 
    This session all the expected points were accomplished . Students were able to finish very interesting and excellent scoops. However, more enthusiasm should be encouraged from the beginning to the end of the teaching period.
