Revise the subjunctive mood 教學設計
學習目標:
1. 通過對課堂實例讓學生能夠理解虛擬語氣的含義。
2. 通過練習能理解并掌if握虛擬條件句在高考題中的應用。 3. 能使用if虛擬語氣簡單造句。 學習任務:
觀察下列選取的句子,注意虛擬語氣的使用。
If I had not pulled the sword out at first, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with her. If I were not the Monkey King, I wouldn’t give up her hands.
If we should turn into common people some day, we would live happily with each other.
教學方法:
討論,總結,復述。
教學用具:
多媒體,助學案。
教學過程:
Step 1:定義:虛擬語氣表示說話人的愿望、假設或建議,而不是客觀存在的事實,它通過謂語動詞的特殊形式來表示。 1.條件句中的虛擬語氣
包含條件從句的句子稱為條件句。條件句分為兩類:一類是真實條件句,一類是虛擬條件句。
(1)如果假設的情況很可能發生,就用真實條件句。If he has time,he will come. (2)如果假設的情況發生的可能性不大,則用虛擬條件句。
Step 2.經典翻拍
If the farmer ___________(not see) the snake, he _________________ (not put) it under his coat; if he __________ (not put)it under his coat ,the snake ___________________ (not bite) him; if the snake____________ (not bite) him, he __________________(not die).
Step 3 .小議一下
What would you want to do if you were a millionaire? Work in pairs and make a dialogue. the following sentence patterns may help you. A: If I were a millionaire, we____________.

Step 4.奇思妙想

虛擬條件句分為三種,見下表: 假設情況 條件從句的謂語形式

【重點提示】
含有條件狀語從句中的虛擬語氣使用時要注意以下幾點:
(1)在虛擬語氣的從句中,動詞“be”的過去時態常用“________”, 不用was。 (2)虛擬條件句中有were,had,should時,可把_____省略,而把_____________________放在主語前,用倒裝結構。

定義:與所描述的事實不相符或者描述的事情不太可能發生。
虛擬條件句分為三種,見下表:

教學反思:
對于普通中學的學生而言,教學切入點比較好,選用了學生感興趣的《大話西游》電影為切入,并且貫穿了整節課堂,學生的關注度比較高。期間穿插了學生比較感興趣的夢想話題,比較貼近學生的生活。不足之處是最后學生在三個問題的討論點上難度還是有點大,且時間花費有點多。普通中學的孩子基礎不夠好,完整的句子不能夠完全呈現,因此,在后續的課堂設計中,除了繼續保留學生感興趣的話題,練習的設計還需要降低難度。
