| 教材分析 | 本課屬于人教版課標Book1Unit 2 English around the world 的warming up 和 speaking 環節。本課的中心話題是“British English and American English are quite different from each other."通過討論英式英語和美式英語三個主要方面的不同，加強學生對英語語言的了解，感受英語語言的多層次和多元化，培養學生的跨文化意識。 | |||

| 教學方法 | 1.情景交際法。課堂以情景交際教學法為主，盡量給學生足夠的聽、說、讀的機會，練習課文實際，創設情景，引入主題，讓學生在交際中學英語。 | |||

| a. Show students a short video to let them know AmE and BrE are different in pronunciation and ask them to give more examples. | ||||
| b. Show students a short video to let them know AmE and BrE are different in vocabulary and ask them to give more examples. | ||||
| c. Show them several groups of words and let them look at them carefully to see if they can discover the difference in spelling. | ||||
| Step 3 :Speaking | ||||
| a. Let students read the dialogue on page 15 and circle the words that mean the same. | ||||
| b. Let them make a dialogue according to the given situations on page 15 | ||||
| c. Ask 4 groups to perform their dialogue while choosing one from the rest to draw the route on the map. If he/she can draw it correctly, he/she will be the winner. | ||||
