教材分析 | 本課屬于人教版課標Book1Unit 2 English around the world 的warming up 和 speaking 環節。本課的中心話題是“British English and American English are quite different from each other."通過討論英式英語和美式英語三個主要方面的不同,加強學生對英語語言的了解,感受英語語言的多層次和多元化,培養學生的跨文化意識。 | |||
教學目標 | 1.To talk about the origin of language | |||
2.To discuss the difference between British English and American English | ||||
3.To learn to make a dialogue using what we learn | ||||
4.To try to understand each other though different kinds of English are used | ||||
教學方法 | 1.情景交際法。課堂以情景交際教學法為主,盡量給學生足夠的聽、說、讀的機會,練習課文實際,創設情景,引入主題,讓學生在交際中學英語。 | |||
2.任務型語言教學法。根據課程總目標并結合教學內容,創造性地設計貼近學生實際情況的教學活動,吸引和組織他們積極參與,使學生通過思考、學習、交流和合作等方式,在一種自然、真實或模擬真實的語言環境中體會語言、掌握語言的應用。 | ||||
3.啟發式教學法。創設情景,引入主題,配合小組討論交流,采用啟發式教學啟發學生主動學習。 | ||||

step 1: Leading in | ||||
Introduce the topic by sharing the story of Babel Tower | ||||
step 2 :Discussing | ||||
a. Show students a short video to let them know AmE and BrE are different in pronunciation and ask them to give more examples. | ||||
b. Show students a short video to let them know AmE and BrE are different in vocabulary and ask them to give more examples. | ||||
c. Show them several groups of words and let them look at them carefully to see if they can discover the difference in spelling. | ||||
Step 3 :Speaking | ||||
a. Let students read the dialogue on page 15 and circle the words that mean the same. | ||||
b. Let them make a dialogue according to the given situations on page 15 | ||||
c. Ask 4 groups to perform their dialogue while choosing one from the rest to draw the route on the map. If he/she can draw it correctly, he/she will be the winner. | ||||
Step 4 : Homework | ||||
教學反思 | 英語教學的根本目的就是促進學生聽、說、讀、寫綜合能力的提高和增強他們的跨文化意識。聽、說、讀、寫四個環節應息息相關,不可孤立。本節課將這四個教學環節適當的融入到整個教學過程中,基本上達到了本課的教學目的。 |
