一、單元教材分析 
本單元圍繞“結(jié)交新朋友”使學(xué)生學(xué)會打招呼和介紹自己、詢問他人姓名的基本句型：“What’s your/his/her name？My/His/Her name is…”; 通過學(xué)習(xí)區(qū)分"First/last name”，了解有關(guān)姓名的文化知識；通過查詢電話號碼 “What’s your/her/his phone number？”，學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)字1~9，同時也進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)學(xué)生之間的相互了解；通過以上幾個方面的學(xué)習(xí)，使學(xué)生在輕松、愉快的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍中熟識新伙伴。本單元與第二單元銜接緊密：由課堂內(nèi)的打招呼、自我介紹到課外、校外相互了解。由特殊疑問句的學(xué)習(xí)到一般疑問句的學(xué)習(xí)，使學(xué)生將書本知識運(yùn)用到實(shí)際生活中。 二、單元學(xué)情分析 
本單元的主題是熟識新伙伴，同時引導(dǎo)學(xué)生采用Practicing, Listening for specific information和Role playing的學(xué)習(xí)策略，學(xué)習(xí)一些新詞匯，掌握一些重點(diǎn)句型，在小組合作學(xué)習(xí)的過程中，進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)學(xué)生之間的相互了解。 三、單元教學(xué)建議 
本單元可綜合運(yùn)用講授式、啟發(fā)式、自主學(xué)習(xí)、合作學(xué)習(xí)等各種策略，提供大量的學(xué)習(xí)資源，通過老師向?qū)W生進(jìn)行的自我介紹，同學(xué)自我介紹傳句子比賽，自我查資料表演，自制明信片等的活動，使學(xué)生能夠?qū)W到知識，又增加了他們的學(xué)習(xí)的樂趣。來培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力及表達(dá)能力和邏輯思維能力。采用Practicing, Listening for specific information和Role playing的學(xué)習(xí)策略，利用教學(xué)圖片或制作多媒體課件來展開課堂Pair work, Group work的口語交際活動，詢問他人姓名、查詢電話號碼，了解有關(guān)姓名的文化知識。  
Section B 1 (1a-2a)  
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)：  1. 語言知識目標(biāo)： 
1) 能掌握以下單詞：zero ~ nine, telephone, number, phone, first name, last name, 
friend, middle school, China    
2) 能掌握以下句型： 
① —What’s your/his/her telephone number?  —It's…  ②—What's your first/last name?   
 
   —My first/last name is… ③—What's his/her first/last name?    
   —His/Her first/last name is… 
                               3) 能辨別英文中的姓氏與名字，了解中英文中姓名之間的區(qū)別。  4）通過聽力訓(xùn)練提高學(xué)生們獲取信息的能力。  5）閱讀簡短的句子或文章獲取相關(guān)信息的能力。 2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標(biāo)： 
幫助學(xué)生比較中英文姓名的不同之處，通過了解中英文名字的區(qū)別，培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生對中外文化差異的敏感性和鑒別能力，加深對本國文化的理解和認(rèn)識，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的世界觀意識，以及初步的跨文化交際能力。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)： 
1) 讓學(xué)生學(xué)會詢問他人的電話號碼，學(xué)會交朋友，了解朋友們的信息。 2) 了解中英文名字間的差異，能辨認(rèn)英文姓氏與名字。 
3) 通過聽、說、讀的訓(xùn)練，提高學(xué)生們綜合運(yùn)用英語的能力，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生們學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣，并在學(xué)習(xí)中體會到學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣。 2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)： 
1) 辨認(rèn)英文姓氏與名字。 2) 閱讀短文及句子獲取相關(guān)信息。 三、教學(xué)過程 
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision 1. Daily greetings to the students  2. Listen to a song  Ⅱ. Learn the numbers 
1. T: Please tell me how to say it in English? (Show the Ss the number pictures, one by 
one)  Ss: It’s one. Ss: It’s two. …     2. Listen and repeat.  
     Let the Ss look at 1a, then play the tape. Ss listen and repeat the numbers.  
3. Listen to the tape. Listen to the tape and write down the telephone number on your books. (Play the tape for the Ss.)      4. Check the answers:278-6926.  III. Group work  
 
                    
             
                    
                            1. Divide the Ss into groups. Each group has four students.  
2. T: Now please work with your group and ask each other questions about phone 
numbers.  
e.g.  S1: What’s your telephone number, S2?  
S2: It’s 356-9865. S1: 356-9865. Thanks.  
IV. Listening  
1. T: Point to the numbered names. Read each one aloud along with the number that 
comes after it. Then say each number and ask a student to read the name before that number. 
Tell Ss to listen to the tape and match the names with the telephone numbers.  2. Point to the blanks in the four telephone numbers. Tell the Ss that the last two numbers of each telephone number are missing. Listen to the tape and then fill in these numbers.  3. Check the answers:  
(1.c   2.d   3.b   4.a)   (278-7928, 555-8042, 398-6149, 929-3160)   4. Listen to the tape carefully and complete the conversation. 
Conversation 1 
A: Hello. _______ your _____? B: __________ Tom.

B: _____, Ms. Miller! __________ Bob. A: _______ your phone number, Bob? B: ____ phone number? It’s _________. V. Presentation  
1. Show some dialogues to the students, let them know about the first name and last name. 
2. Get the Ss to practice the following dialogue in pairs.

1) Point out the sample answers: the L for last name next to Green, and F for first name next to Jack. Then have students finish the exercise on their own.   2) Read the list of names in the exercise. Ask students to guess which names are first names and which are last names.  4. Check the answers.  VII. Language points 
    1. 基數(shù)詞 zero,… nine (0至9)  
      zero, one, two… nine被稱作基數(shù)詞，用來表示數(shù)量的多少。用法如下： 
(1) 表示號碼，如電話號碼、身份證號碼、門牌號等, 讀時按單個基數(shù)詞讀出。0可讀成字母o的讀音/ƏU/或zero 。 
      (2) 表示數(shù)字或年齡等。  
e.g. 她六歲。  She’s six years old.    
             二加三等于五。  Two and three is five.   
(3) 表示時間編號等。 
e.g. 五點(diǎn)鐘    five o’clock     2. first name與last name 
       first name 是指英美人的名，也可以說given name。而“姓”叫l(wèi)ast name        或family name。英美人通常是名字在前，姓氏在后，與中國人的姓名順序相
反。 
       e.g. 我叫杰克·米勒，我姓米勒。 
I’m Jack Miller. My last name’s Miller.  
3. it’s 與its 
it’s = it is意為“它是”。it是人稱代詞(第三人稱單數(shù)形式)。its是形容詞性物主代詞，意為“它的”。 
e.g. 它是一只貓，它的名字叫咪咪。 
It’s a cat. Its name’s Mimi.
