一、教材分析：
這節課是牛津英語八年級下冊Unit 6 Travel 這一單元的相關內容，是通過Reading部分的閱讀文章France is calling 延伸出來的拓展寫作課時。從整個牛津英語初中學段的教材來看，在七年級下冊第一單元中，就已經出現過了和Travel 相關的內容——Writing a travel guide，并且整個單元的主要學習內容都是圍繞上海這座城市而展開的，所以學生對上海的一些基本信息、旅游景點、名勝古跡及其特點已有了一定的認知，并對如何介紹上海這座城市也有一些思路，因為我們在教學過程中，重點就是讓學生掌握如何從不同的角度去介紹某個地方。但在八年級下冊書中，當我們再碰到“travel”這一話題時，我們所閱讀的課文材料不僅僅是涵蓋了對法國的介紹，更是旨在通過這樣一篇摘自travel brochure中的文章來吸引游客去法國游玩，所以Reading 部分的文章無論是從語言，還是內容，還是結構上看，無一不凸顯出這一特點，“attract”這個詞也是貫穿始末。這就與我們學生以往所讀和所寫的關于“travel”的文章大有不同，我想不妨讓學生動筆一試。
二、學情分析：
首先，八年級的學生的生活閱歷更加豐富了，在他們的背景知識體系中，應該能較快地搜尋到一些和Travelling in Shanghai 相關的內容，為他們的語言輸出作鋪墊；其次，學生在六七年級的學習過程中，也已學習過一些與travel 和 travelling in Shanghai 相關的內容，為他們的寫作也能作鋪墊；除此之外，他們在思想上也日漸成熟了，會有自己獨到的想法樂于表達。很慶幸，我所執教的這個班級的學生正是這樣一群可愛的少年，他們沒有在青春期這一階段羞于表達或懶于思考，恰恰相反，他們在課堂上總是樂于表達自己的想法，分享不同的見解，積極參與課堂，全身心投入課堂，讓課堂活力四射，這是難能可貴的。但與此同時，他們在課外知識的積累與拓展上，思維品質的培養上，還需要給自己提出更高的要求，并作出更大的努力。
三、教學目標及說明
本單元的主題為Travel，主閱讀材料為France is calling， 所以從輸入角度上看，我們不僅僅學習了文本內容，更是學習了諸如此類文體的表達方式，因此，在寫作這一輸出環節，我們選擇了以讀促寫的教學策略， 通過發現文本的表達特征， 使用這些特征為自己的書面表達所用，所以設定本節課的教學目標如下： 1. 讓學生通過閱讀France is calling 這篇教材文章，發現總結歸納四大寫作微技能（The target readers; The topic sentences ; More detailed information; Charming words）
2. 運用上述四個所概括出的寫作微技能來現場完成一個段落的寫作，并進行展示與互評，并在此基礎上進行再次修改。在這個過程中，學生通過理解、應用，評價和再修改，進一步加深對四個微技能的理解與應用。
3. 通過小組合作展示，讓學生進行整體性評價，并給出相應的建議或意見。在整個過程中，讓學生加愛上海。
四、教學重點及說明
本節課是一節寫作指導課，是在單元整體框架下的輸出部分，依據單元教學的整體目標和本節課的課型特征，我們聚焦寫作微技能的培養，因此設定本節課的教學重點如下：
通過閱讀文本材料，引導學生體驗、發現、概括總結本堂課聚焦的關于travel brochure 寫作的四個微技能，并能學以致用。
五、教學難點及說明：
由于學生在以往的寫作過程中，對于travel brochure的訓練沒有，對travel brochure 的表達的認識不夠，結構不清晰，因此如何根據閱讀輸入環節來發現表達的微技能是比較困難的部分，因此設定本節課的難點如下：
如何通過對文本材料，France is calling 的再次閱讀，發現并歸納出travel brochure 寫作的四大微技能。

八、設計思路：
本課主要通過情境創設來展開過程性寫作活動。首先，通過鼓勵學生參加即將到來的上海旅游節征文活動來引出本節課的寫作話題，明確寫作的目的；其次，通過再讀“France is calling”這篇文章，來共同分析并挖掘出本堂課重點關注的兩大寫作微技能，通過歸納總結這些微技能使學生明確寫作評價標準。其次，通過學生親身實踐，及時發現問題，指出問題，給出評價，便能在此基礎上讓學生進行進一步的對習作的完善；最后，進行分享與展示活動，挑選出值得推送的作品，也讓情境貫穿始終。
