一、 教學(xué)目標:
語言知識目標:
1、能聽懂、會說、認讀單詞was、 were、young、hair、grandparents short
2、能理解并使用was ,were來談?wù)撟约夯蚣胰诉^去及現(xiàn)在的外部特征的變化。
3、能聽懂、會讀、理解課文并回答相關(guān)的問題。
語言技能目標:
能夠運用was和were來描述過去,介紹自己或他人過去的變化。
情感態(tài)度目標:學(xué)生在談?wù)撜掌倪^程中,體會到自己及家人的變化;在談?wù)摷亦l(xiāng)變化和觀看《厲害了我的國》的短片后,了解到祖國的驚天巨變,增強民族自豪感。
學(xué)習(xí)策略目標:
在小組合作學(xué)習(xí)中,不斷調(diào)整自己的學(xué)習(xí)方法,提高學(xué)習(xí)效率
文化意識目標:
學(xué)生通過談?wù)撝型饷说淖兓唵瘟私獾轿覀冎目茖W(xué)家袁隆平、屠呦呦等對中國的科技事業(yè)發(fā)展的貢獻;在談?wù)撏瑢W(xué)及家人的變化的同時解到中西方對他人的評價的基本禮儀。
二、教學(xué)重點、難點:重點:
詞匯:grandparent, then, hair, was, were; young short
目標語句:They were young then . You were so cute.
教學(xué)重點:運用本課功能句談?wù)撟约夯蚣胰诉^去和現(xiàn)在的外部特征的變化。
難點:
正確使用 “was” “were”描述人物從過去到現(xiàn)在發(fā)生的變化。
三、教學(xué)準備:外研通互動教學(xué)系統(tǒng)、自制卡片、課件。
四、教學(xué)過程:
I : Warm- up復(fù)習(xí)啟動
1.Greetings .
Teacher makes a brief self- introduction of herself and then shows a picture of Dalian city and then announce the competition between teams. Teacher shows some pictures of her trip to Chengdu and then she has a free talk about her changes on her looks.
設(shè)計意圖:通過課前師生之間的互動交流,讓學(xué)生對老師有初步了解,拉近了師生間的距離,并宣布開始過程性評價。
2. Play a guessing game.
Teacher does some actions and let students try to guess the words and then give a sentences. E.g. “tall” “ She is tall.” “He is tall”. My mother is tall”
設(shè)計意圖:通過師生的猜謎游戲,調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性,并讓學(xué)生在語境中復(fù)習(xí)以往學(xué)過的描述人物外部特征的單詞。
II.Text -learning課文學(xué)習(xí)
1. lead-in
Q:Was Sam tall or short in the picture?
Students watch the flash of activity 1 and answer the question.
Then read the short passage after the E-pen.
2. Text-learning
(1)Students watch the flash of the Activity 2 and then answer the question :
-Who are they? -They are Lingling’s grandparents.
Students learn to say the word
grandparents.
(2)Students try to complete the table after they listen and read the text.
Teacher writes the key words on the blackboard when students answer questions.
(3)Practice the target sentences with more pictures: They were young then. Now they are old.And then do some practice with the structure.
(4)After that, practice the structure again with chant.“
They were young then. Now they are old. She was short then Now she is tall……”
(5)Read the text with E-pen. Read one by one . Read in roles.
【設(shè)計意圖】在課文學(xué)習(xí)的過程中,除了要讓學(xué)生了解文章的主要內(nèi)容,也要了解文本中所呈現(xiàn)的主要語言結(jié)構(gòu)---即運用be動詞的過去式was 和were 談?wù)撊宋镞^去與現(xiàn)在的外部變化。設(shè)計了看圖說句子和chant等活動,讓學(xué)生一定的語境中不停的鞏固這個語言結(jié)構(gòu)。這是四年級的學(xué)生初次接觸be動詞過去式,因此要幫助學(xué)生初步形成語感,知道be動詞的變化與then和now有對應(yīng)關(guān)系,為后面的語言輸出搭起支架。
III.Practice鞏固操練
1. Look and say. Talk about pictures in Activity 3. Do it in pairs.
2. Play a guessing game: Who is it? Teacher shows photos of students when they were very small and then ask them to guess who they are.
T: Who is it?
S1: It’s XXX.
S2: It’s me. I was two. I was short. Now I am ten. I am tall.
S3:It’s… He was two. He was short. Now he is tall.
【設(shè)計意圖】在鞏固操練和環(huán)節(jié),進一步加強對主要目標語句的操練和運用,游戲活動的設(shè)計讓課堂的操練更有趣味習(xí)性。
IV Production.拓展運用
Photos Show. The students start to talk about their own photos .
Show a video of Amazing China.
T: What do you see in the movie? Any changes in your hometown? Who help to make these changes?
【設(shè)計意圖】在真實的語境中使用所用語言,讓學(xué)生做到學(xué)以致用。通過談?wù)摷彝サ淖兓甑郊亦l(xiāng)的變化和國家的變化,引發(fā)學(xué)生的民族自豪感,并激發(fā)學(xué)生通過努力學(xué)習(xí),為家鄉(xiāng)為祖國做貢獻的積極情感。
V.Summary and homework.總結(jié)評價與作業(yè)布置
What have we learnt today? Who is the winner?
【設(shè)計意圖】在總結(jié)與評價過程中讓學(xué)生再次回到本課學(xué)習(xí)的話題---變化。讓學(xué)生觀察過程性評價中的photos的變化,使整個學(xué)習(xí)過程結(jié)構(gòu)完整,目標主題明確,緊扣主旨,達到較好的學(xué)習(xí)效果
