教學目標
Teaching aims
Ss will be able to name some food and drinks.
Ss will be able to understand and read the story in Cartoon time and try to act it well.
Ss will be able to order food and offer food with good manners.
Ss will be able to use the sentences: What would you like? I’d like…, please. What about you? A/An/Some…, please. Anything else? No, thanks.
2學情分析
一、關于詞匯和日常交際用語
a. 學生在第一課時學了Story time, 但只是初步感知了點餐時的日常交際用語,還未進行實際操練和運用,因此需要再第二課時進行鞏固,幫助學生掌握這些點餐用語。對于課文中出現的食物類單詞也只有五個,因此還要在第二課時新授另外三個單詞。在第二課時中適當拓展的飲食類詞匯只是作為了解,不作認讀、拼寫和運用的要求,因此不會加重學生的負擔。
b. 在第一課時中,a glass of中的of的發音是教學的難點,學生很多發成了for, 所以在第二課時剛開始復習時進行了分解認讀進行強化。
c. 對于單詞的拼讀,我記得在一次瑞哥叔叔的講座中特別指出了在課堂上逐個字母拼讀既費時又沒有什么效果。單詞在腦部的活躍度不是靠重復機械地朗讀可以掌握的,只有在情景中加以運用才能在腦部扎根,成為詞匯樹的一部分。所以本課就是請學生們跟讀了幾遍新詞,而是將重點放在對話中加以運用。
二、關于Cartoon time
a. 動畫版塊出現了Can I help you? 這個句型,跟之前Story 版塊中的服務員的用語可以進行結合操練,因此本課時中就先進行了動畫版塊的教學,然后在進行Fun time 版塊的活動,使Fun time 版塊的語言更豐富些,對話也更自然些。
b. 動畫版塊中出現了感嘆句What a big egg! 這一難點在拓展Sam 會說什么時進行了點撥:fish 在這里是魚肉,是不可數名詞,前面不能加a, 因此這句感嘆句為What big fish!
c. 關于學生的表演,希望是能夠加入自己的語言是對話更豐富,也激發學生原有的知識儲備,充分進行運用。
三、關于Fun time
此版塊中給的的食物僅僅只有8項,我們希望能加入一些學過的食物。因此,另外制作了菜單給學生進行點餐游戲。對于句型書上也是只有給了What would you like? I’d like…, please. …, please. 對于服務員常用的Can I help you? What about you? Anything else? 等日常用語沒有涉及到。因此,在學完了Story time和Cartoon time后,我們覺得可以將這些點餐和服務員日常用語結合在對話里進行鞏固操練,也更符合真實的點餐情境。但是在新授詞匯結束后,在Cartoon time學習之前,中間也加入了一個drill,初步練習What would you like? I’d like…這一句型,為后面的綜合運用活動做好鋪墊。
四、關于情感態度價值觀
本課內容是食物和飲料類單詞以及點餐用語和服務員日常交際用語。因此涉及到用餐要合理,不浪費,健康飲食和餐桌禮儀等德育教育的內容,所以我們也有必要在英語課堂上進行這些方面的教育,促進學生個人素養的提升。
3重點難點
Teaching key points
Ss can be able to read and act the story in Cartoon time fluently after different ways of reading.
Ss can be able to order food and offer food with good manners.
Teaching difficult points
Ss can say more sentences when acting Cartoon time and practicing ordering food.
Ss understand the fish in the text is countable. 
4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Warm-up
(Ss enjoy the song “I’m hungry” before the lesson.)
T: Class begins, boys and girls.   Ss: Stand up.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m Miss Xu.  Ss: Good morning, Miss Xu.
T: (教師哼唱歌曲)I’m hungry. I’d like something to eat. I’m thirsty. I’d like something to drink. In today’s lesson, we’re going to talk about the food and drinks at the snack bar. (板書課題) Read after me! Unit6 At the snack bar
T: Look, here are the learning aims.
I can name some food and drinks.
I can understand, read and act the Cartoon time.
I can order and offer food with proper expressions and good manners.
活動2【講授】Revice 
T: Do you remember story time? Look. They’re Mike, Dad and Helen. What would they like?
T: What would Mike like? S: He would like a hamburger and a glass of milk.
T: Good boy/girl. (PPT出示食物圖片,再出示圖詞卡) Read together. (貼在黑板上)
T:What would Dad like? S: He’d like a sandwich and a cup of coffee.
T:Great! Please read the words together.
T: What about Helen? What would she like?  S: She would like some noodles.
T: Good job. Read together.
T: Now can you retell the whole story time? (PPT顯示填空)
Let’s try together. OK? 
活動3【活動】Fun time
T: Wow, you learned Story time very well. Can you say more words of food and drinks? Let’s have a brainstorm. (PPT出示規則) 小組競賽:三十秒內誰能說得更多?
You have 30 seconds to prepare. (顯示計時器)
Which group wants to try?  Other children, please count. (計時,Are you ready? Go. ) (請其他學生記好)How many words did they say?
Which group wants to try again? 
Which group has won? Congratulations! Well done! Let’s praise.
4.  Look. What’s that? ‘ rice’  It’s a bowl of rice. Listen and read, ice cream 冰淇淋  ice 冰  r-ice 米飯。We can also say some rice.  
5.  同法教學juice, tea, a glass of juice. . fruit—juice. a cup of tea. clean, please, eat
( 設計思路:通過復習Story引出本單元食品和飲料類詞匯五個,由于第一課時重在文本閱讀、朗讀和表演。沒有對詞匯進行細致的教學,因此,本課時再次復現單詞,并用大腦風暴激活學生原有的食品和飲料類單詞,并引出新詞some rice, a glass of juice and a cup of tea。還有通過有些孩子對課本以外的單詞的認知進行分享,使其他孩子也有相應的拓展。)
Practise the key sentences.
T: Now please say the words of food quickly. Then the drinks. So many food and drinks. I’d like some fruit salad and a glass of milk. What would you like? S: I’d like ….  Please ask you group member, and ask the next one. (幾個孩子示范后板書句型:What would you like? I’d like…)
Now please ask and answer in groups one by one. Are you clear? Go.   
融入學生了解情況。

結束后點評:Your food is healthy. But hamburgers and chips are junk food. Don’t eat too much junk food. Remember: Eating healthy food is good for our health. )
(設計思路:本環節利用圖片和板書操練句型和食物類單詞,化解本課重點句型。并利用學生對食物的喜好引出需要平衡膳食,健康飲食的生活教育。)
活動4【活動】Cartoon time
1. T: Look, who are they? S: They’re Bobby and Sam What food would they like? Let’s watch the cartoon, OK?
2. Ss watch the cartoon and the answer: Sam would like some fish. (read fish, some fish) 
Bobby would like an egg.
3. T: Where are Sam and Bobby? Please open your English book. Turn to Page 41. Read the Cartoon time by yourselves first, and then do Exercise 1 in this sheet. 
融入學生了解情況。
4. T: Have you finished? Let’s check the answers.
  a. Where are Sam and Bobby?  They are ____ the ________ ______.
  b. Is the egg big or small?    It’s ___________.
  c. What about the fish?  It’s _______  ___________.
 T: Have you got the right answers?   Raise your hands.  
5. T: Now put the paper away. One two three! T: Look at Bobby’s big egg. What does Bobby say? S: What a big egg! T: Look at Sam’s fish. If you are Sam, what will you say? S: What a big fish! (根據學生回答確定是否加拓展 We can also say “How big the fish is!)  
6. T: Now let’s imitate, pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
(I’m hungry.) Who can try? T 引導學生 add the action.
(Me too.)  
(Here’s a snack bar. I’d like some fish.) Who can try? Is Sam happy? So we can read it happily.
(I’d like an egg)  We can read it happily too.
 (Can I help you?) Who can try?
(Yes. I’d like some fish, please.) ( PPT提示:nervous緊張的)

(What a big egg!)  ( PPT提示:surprised驚訝的)
T: Now please read by yourself. (PPT:自讀課文,模仿剛才的語音語調)
融入學生了解情況。
8. T: Now let’s dub. Who can have a try? Who would like to be Sam? …(配音)
9. T: Now can you try to retell the Cartoon time only according to the pictures?  (PPT根據圖片復述課文,不看書。) Let’s try together, OK?
10. T: Wonderful! I think you can act the Cartoon now.  If you can act correctly and fluently, you can get one star. If you can pay attention to the emotion and he gesture , You can get two stars. If you make the story more wonderful, you can get three stars. Clear? (Work in groups to get ready.)  融入學生了解情況。
11. T: Are you ready? Who would like to try? Introduce yourself first. T: Action!
 (指名三組上臺表演) How many stars can they get? Why? (指名評價,可說中文。)
(設計思路:本環節重在動畫內容的理解、朗讀和表演,在模仿語音語調的基礎上,利用人物當時的情緒體驗讀出情感;在表演的要求中適當分級標準,鼓勵學生將所學語言融入表演,將故事改編得更豐富,更有趣。)
活動5【活動】Going to the snack bar
1. T: Wonderful! Sam and Bobby are at the snack bar. Do you want to go to the snack bar too?  Look, here are some snack bars. (PPT逐個出示KFC, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Starbucks Coffee)
2. T: First, what will waiters or waitresses say? (PPT提示:服務員會說什么呢?)
學生說,板書句型: Can I help you? Anything else? What about…?
學生再說Here you are. 等等,老師就在板書上加省略號…。
3. T: And what can we say to order food?  (顧客點餐時說什么呢?)
根據學生回答添加板書:A/An/Some…,  please. (We should say “please”.) 學生再說Thank you. 就加省略號…
4. Now let’s try to order food. Please watch a video first. 
T: How many stars can they get? If you can make the dialogue wonderful, you can get three stars.  
5. Please get into groups of three, practice the dialogue.  
 A: I’m hungry. Let’s go to the snack bar!  B: Good idea./OK./All right.
 C: Hello. Can I help you?/What would you like?  A: I’d like…, please.
 C: What would you like?/What about you?      B: …, please.
 C: Anything else?    A&B: …
C: OK.              …
C: Here you are.  A&B: Thank you.
6: T: Now which group would like to come to the front and show us your dialogue?  
 (指名三組上臺表演點餐,服務員拿好道具假裝記錄。并請學生評價可得幾顆星,說說理由。)
活動6【測試】Ticking time
1. T: OK, other children. Please act the dialogue after class. You can order food now. But please remember we should also pay attention to the table manners.  
a. They’re talking loudly. Can we talk loudly when eating and drinking.
 (No, 學生自由說:Don’t shout. Don’t talk loudly. Be quiet.)
There are so much food on the floor. Can we waste food?
S: Don’t waste.
Be a kid with good table manners.
Remember: Eating healthy food and be a person with good table manners.
2. Ticking time.
How many stars can you get? No.1 Can you name food and drinks? Who can show us?  Say some words of food and drinks.
No 2: Can you read and act the Cartoon well? How many stars can you get?  
No 3: Can you order food with the proper expressions and good table manners?  
So how many of you can get nine stars? Raise your hands.  
3. T: Congratulations, boys and girls! You did a good job in this lesson.  
活動7【作業】Assignment
 No.1 Finish the tasks on the net of 17zuoye.com.  
No.2 Make an English Menu.
