一. 教學內容分析：
本節課的內容是必修 5 Module6 的 Period 2 Reading and Vocabulary 部分。本模塊以 Animals in Danger 為話題，講述瀕危動物。學生通過本模塊的學習，可以增加對瀕危動物的了解，提高聽、說、讀、寫等各項技能，并提高保護瀕危動物的意識。在這篇文章中, 作者先描寫了索南達杰與盜獵者戰斗的場景，引出保護藏羚羊的話題，然后用大量數字來說明瀕危動物藏羚羊的瀕危原因以及人們為拯救藏羚羊所做出的努力以及努力的結果。學生通過本篇文章的學習，可以對藏羚羊的瀕危原因以及人們為拯救藏羚羊所做出的努力有更好的了解，并進一步有保護瀕危動物的意識。各項任務、題目的設置旨在提高學生閱讀能力，喚起學生保護瀕危動物的意識。
二．學情分析：
本節課的授課對象是高二年級的學生，該班學生英語整體水平中等偏上，在平時閱讀過程中，學生面臨的問題主要有以下兩點：1.詞匯量小，影響其對文章內容的理解。2.閱讀速度慢。針對這兩點，本節課采用了以下兩個方法：1.通過結合視頻，圖片與語境，復習鞏固文章中一些單詞。2.采取限時閱讀的方式,培養學生利用文中的時間狀語迅速定位細節信息的閱讀能力。
