一、教材分析
課文主要介紹了五個備受歡迎的卡通人物形象，包括美猴王、怪物史萊克、小丑魚尼莫、丁丁和史努比。卡通故事和卡通人物是青少年喜歡的話題，每個學生都有自己喜歡的卡通人物和卡通故事，此話題能夠激發學生的學習興趣和參與意識。教師可以借助此話題的優勢，設計讀、寫的教學活動。
二、設計理念
Unit 2是一節閱讀寫作課，本課時的主要任務是閱讀，在教學中主要培養學生閱讀理解的能力和技巧。教師在教學中，可運用閱讀教學“五步法”開展教學，即“一讀大意”——“二抓細節”——“三解疑惑”——“四會賞析”——“五能運用”。在教學中，滲透閱讀策略的運用。語法重點是對不同時態的綜合運用，教師要引導學生關注不同時態的語句的功能差異，引導學生思考、理解和掌握。寫作的重點是指導學生能夠寫一篇有關自己最喜歡的卡通人物的短文。

九、教學反思
在本節課的教學中，我以新課程理念為依據進行教學設計和課堂活動。首先，教學中突出閱讀教學。在教學中，我能較好地把握基于策略訓練的閱讀教學的特點，即圍繞如何訓練學生的閱讀策略來進行教學設計和安排教學活動。在教學中滲透了猜詞策略，預測策略，尋讀，略讀等閱讀策略進行拓展閱讀。讓學生學到學以致用，充分提高學生的閱讀能力。其次，我能充分發揮教師的指導作用，提高策略訓練的效果。在本節課的學習中，我能較好地扮演著一個引導者的角色，在各個環節設計了不同的任務，讓學生通過自由閱讀，小組合作閱讀來完成教學任務。盡量地把閱讀、討論的時間留給學生，讓學生成為課堂的主角，充分體現了學生為主體的探究式合作學習方式。在整篇文章的學習過程中，我能適時地提醒學生要合理使用目標策略，保證學生使用目標策略的效果。
在教學過程中，我收獲很大，但也有許多不足，例如：學生的參與度不均衡，有一些學生卻習慣于當聽眾，被動地接受別人的觀點。很少發表自己的個人意見。在開展教學活動時，個別小組出現“冷清”的場面，這些學生只顧自己獨立思考，停留在獨立學習的層次上，沒有發揮合作學習的優勢，使合作流于形式。在今后的教學中，我既要注意到每個合作小組成員的合理編排，又要注意到自己教學內容的設計、話題的趣味性以及如何把學生的積極性真正地調動起來。
通過這節課的教學及反思，我更好地看到了自己在教學上的優勢與不足，為將來更順利地進行教學明確了自己要發展和努力的方向。
