Teaching steps
Step1 Lead-in What’s the hobby?
1.教師用多媒體快速展示有關愛好的圖片。
2.學生觀察并記憶,看圖片,說出相應的愛好。
3.詢問同學的愛好;運用such as句型介紹學生的愛好。
( PPT展示有關愛好的圖片 ,激發學生的學習興趣。)
Step2. Presentation
Use of multi-media teaching, teach the new words and key structures.
1.師結合圖片,引導學生用形容詞來描述圖片中的愛好。
2.學生積極表達自己的觀點。
( 用不同顏色呈現不同的內容,便于學生明確課堂學習的重點。此環節為下面的閱讀作 好了詞匯準備。)
Step3. Practice in pairs
Talk about and describe their hobbies.
1.師示范
2.學生兩人一組了解彼此的愛好,并用形容詞來描述自己的愛好。
( 對主要詞匯,句型結構的操練為后邊的寫作做鋪墊。)
Step4 Reading
1.Listen and complete the chart: David’s hobbies
2.Fast reading: Read the passage quickly and match the main idea of every paragraph.
3.Careful reading
(1)Read Paragraph1 and answer the question: What advantages can hobbies
bring to young people?
(2)Read Paragraph2---Paragraph4 and tell the sentences true (T) or false (F).
4.Consolidation:Complete the passage(rewrite the passage).
